Ahhhhhhh this warmed my soul. I love my Galen Leather products. My husband gifted me a cover for our 3rd wedding anniversary (Leather is the traditional gift) and since then I've bought a pencil pouch, a folio cover, a notebook.... Oops 😅😅

Oh man once you buy from them it’s hard to stop! They have so many amazing products and I am in love with the quality 😍! Ohhh fountain pens are also an expensive hobby but I recommend starting with a few entry level pens to get a feel of what you like in a pen. TWSBI and Kaweco are my favorite starter brands. at 30.51 it melted my heart, it looks like a design to honor Zeynep, the founder of the company and mom in the family. She got sick, fought very hard but sadly passed away. I heard she was a lovely lady, adoring mom, and wife. Great designer, she created so several of the leather goods that are loved by so many. I'm sure this change in their packaging is to honor her. What a wonderful collection you have! I so love Galen Leather products. The quality of their products is superb, their customer service is fantastic and they have a great rewards program too! I have yet to buy the anything in Crazy Horse Ochre, but it will be next. I have the tote bag in Crazy Horse Forest Green and love it. Yes, you need a tote and the Medic Bag!😉 The Fed Ex guy just rolls his eyes at me anymore and says "Another package from Turkey for you!"😁

That is the one I am considering. I am planning a project in B5 that will likely take a few years to complete and I would love to protect it and keep the designated pens with it. Do things fit comfortably in yours?

Getting a folio to protect your B5 notebook over a long period of time is such a smart idea! Sorry I can’t answer your question but I’ve got a lot of confidence in Galen Leather’s products so I’m sure it’ll meet your needs. Depending on the notebook thickness, most items fit well in the folios. For example an archer and olive notebook may be too thick to have other items in the folio. But a leuchtturm 1917 leaves just enough room to a few more things. Hope that helps!

You can also use the pen loops to hook the pen clip itself instead of shoving the pen through the loop:)

Ohh, I wonder if it was Zeynap who made the evil eye charms. If so, unfortunately she passed away a couple of years ago. :-( I believe she started the company, which is now run by Yusuf, her brother, and Yunus, her husband. I remember everyone talking about it at the 2019 San Francisco Pen Show. Yusuf was there tabling for Galen Leather, and she had just died a month or two before that.

Watching this 8 months after you posted but, excellent video and purchased. I LOVE GALEN LEATHER PRODUCTS. On my 1st order, I got 2 of the washi dispensers and they are a work of art - beautiful. Later, I ordered A5 everyday notebooks in the 128 and 400 sheet sizes, this was on Feb. 2021, before they announced the end of TRP. And lastly, I am waiting for delivery of an order of more A5 books because GL is offering TRP again, and I also ordered my first pen cases in crazy horse brown. I got the 10 pen and the Kaweco 14 pen sizes, and can't wait to get them.
