We built our own catio and our ragdolls can access it freely via a cat flap in the door. It’s partly covered with polycarbonate so they can go out even when it’s raining and we’ve been able to put their litter trays out there which is a huge bonus. We stopped taking ours in the garden on harnesses because they were crying to go out all the time. Once we stopped taking them out and just had them use the catio they stopped trying to escape.

This is such a good idea for indoor kitties to get used to being outdoors safely. The only other place I’ve actually seen them is in Dublin. A catnip plant in a floor planter or in the plant pot might be a nice idea for Gigi

I use my slow cooker to make curries, cook beef joints and even roast chicken (makes it so tender and the juices is amazing for gravy), cook the main part of cottage pie(mince,onion,veg etc, then I put it into a baking dish with mashed potato on top and put in oven)

Gigi is going to love it in that Catio it looked great . I wish we had a garden then I could get my Guacamole (cat) one . You could may get two strips of turf/grass to put in there so Gigi can graze on it when she ever feels like she needs a bit of medicine. Also I have seen in B&M a small pop up tent for cats to playing in which you could use for a bit more shade for her seeing as the summer is coming soon as I noticed there wasn’t much shade in the Catio for her to sit in. A great idea thou for indoor cats. 👍👍👍🥰

Hi Liza, when your doing the second colour in the bedroom, it's better to use the frog masking tape as it prevents the paint from bleeding and comes off easily! It is more expensive but worth it. Aldi does sell it from time to time cheaper than the stores. Ye are doing great work with the house and garden!

My daughter built a place for her 3 cats to play in. They have have all kinds of things to walk on. They live on a B road so don't want to let the cats out even though they have a very large garden. They can go into it through their cat flap which is handy, as trying to get 3 cats in there would be a nightmare. Yours is really nice and she has really grown. xx

Hi there. I absolutely adore the catio and its looks really good. However, I am a little worried about the hanging basket you put in. I cant see if it is faux or real (its good!) but if it is real are they plants that are not toxic to cats. I know you are a new cat owner and Im not trying to teech you how to "suck eggs" but I just thought Id mention it. Gigi is absolutely gorgeous, but aren't the boys growing up into lovely young lads. Hi Julie, Gigi is a house cat so it's all that she knows. She is harness trained so she comes out with us on the harness and now has her catio too. It's just safer for her and she is happy x

It won’t be a cat channel but Gigi is a part of our family so she will feature more of course 😻 I found it so helpful watching videos about the breed when we were getting her so if I can help anyone else looking to get a British shorthair then I’d love to help.
