2019, our fifth consecutive year at XLygen and probably the best yet - halibut galore. How great it was to travel before the Covid pandemic was around.
Fantastic fishing and plenty of laughs with some great company. First year for Jack, Luke and Connor, they fished hard and caught some monsters, no Norwegian records (yet!) but everything was bigger than can be caught in British waters nowadays. Norway sea angling at its best, huge cod, massive halibut and the best fishing camp for sure. Thanks once again to our friend and top fishing guide 'Lucky' aka Lucasius Maximus for some great advice on finding the halibut. Tromso and XLyngen are highly recommended in winter too for whale watching and the northern lights or aurora borealis
