Bbw candles throw really well in a tea light warmer. If you don’t want to bother with the burnt smell. I scoop it out with a butter knife directly onto the warmer. It’s stronger then burning it and it lasts longer.

This is amazing - I went to my local BBW this week in CA and I kid you not, there was not a SINGLE Summer, Fall or Halloween candle to be found; just the boring AF White Barn core collection. I just need moonlit graveyard. Pumpkin carving is a must for me every year. I already bought multiples of pumpkin peanut brittle, my OG blueberry pumpkin patch and grabbed one of the freshly brewed coffee. Thanks for the cold review on these!

@elsahaas7116,that's what I find so annoying about these constant price increases..the prices go up,while quality goes down..I can't even count how many weak candles I've had from BBW over the years,more times than not I end up disappointed with their candles because of the weak throw on them.

Let's be real, most of us are not spending the $36.95 full price on these candles, so it's more like a $20 candle, or even cheaper during a set-price sale. While I hate unscented, low-value candles as much as anyone else, HomeWorx is out there also charging ~$20/each or $50/a QVC set, and those are more unscented with drowning and loose wicks, and they have the most diehard fans out there. I've had numerous single-wick "luxury" candles that cost a pretty penny that don't produce much of a throw. Nest is out there charging $80 for a 3-wick that also soots and gets black and murky midrange. 95% of Yankee's catalog is unscented and they regularly charge around $20 for their large jars. I dumped over $120 on 4 Voluspa's a while back and they drowned or were unscented. The list goes on. I think $20 for a candle that has a unique substantial lid, cute branding/packaging, combined with a generous exchange policy and easy availability is not that bad. And if it is indeed unscented, I can easily return it to the store, which is more than can be said for HomeWorx, Nest, etc. We all know BBW doesn't pay me a single cent, so I'm not at all incentivized to defend them either!

@elsahaas7116 Like all the other candles going up I don’t agree with them be light when you compare to other candle companies, with BBW you can return to a local store if your not happy with it when other candle company it’s such a hassle to send them back.

You are absolutely correct! I can remember so so ago when BBW use to go up in price once a year. I thought that was a bit much, but NOW, SMH! BBW will run themselves out of business keep jacking them prices up too often.

Hey Kent, Thanks For Sharing Your Haul, With, us, I can't wait to hear your Reviews on these Candles. I too did get to smell some of these Candles the other Day, I'm not really Excited about them , Now if they Would Match the Scents with these Crazy Price Hikes we would all be more Excited. I don't know it's nice to have Pretty Packaging but most want to smell the candle too & not have to stand right next to them to be able to smell them, Just make the Scent match these Prices Please. 🤔

Idk why they make summer spring fragrances for Halloween branding . Its so annoying. I was most excited about the amber one but you're saying it's light so that's sad. I think now moonlit graveyard sounds like the only interesting one. I do like me some strong incense and patchouli but hopefully I don't get old dude cologne vibes. 😅 They are so crazy with these prices. I hope they are included in set price sales. 🙏🏻 Excited for PPW backups always. it's THE quintessential fall scent for me. 🍂

Some of the stores have them available now with $10 off. In Houston I’ve been to two stores. One had the majority but the other included some of the new men’s line (including my favorite… Atlantic). He may have the hookup but they are also starting to roll out as they gain floor space from selling their surplus of SAS items

I actually don't have a hookup for some years now since I moved! Someone let me know that a store an hour away from me had fall candles out early during SAS. I made the drive up there again during this sale in hopes they would have more fall out, which they did. They didn't have Halloween out, but when I asked about it, they were kind of enough to sell it to me. It wasn't any kind of special treatment. It's a new store to me, so I don't know any of the sales associates. I'm just another rando walking in.

Ghoul friend is definitely raspberry pink peony. I stocked up on it before ghoul friend ever came out so I was super excited to see it released in wider selections of home fragrance. I always found it strange how a spring/summer scent was re marketed for Halloween. Which goes to show BBW rename and rebranding

I get flack for simply trying to be helpful and list off old repackage references, so I'm glad *someone* understands the references. 100%, I find it so strange that's a spring/summer scent repackaged for Halloween, and yes, it should illustrate to people that BBW can name and repackage anything to try to make it a new/different scent.

Champagne toast candle is not the same as the body care, they’re similar. After 2012 BBW had a Christmas body care collection with a scent called pink sugarplum. It was released for two years and then it became the champagne toast body care. But I’m sure people think I’m crazy for making that claim

Midnight Spell is a CLEAN Scent?! WTF!! Will they EVER get Halloween right?!! Was Really hoping Moonlit Graveyard was the "Incense" candle. Do you remember that one? My favorite from that collection and I cannot remember the name of the collection but I think White opal or pink opal was in that collection or whatever it was called. And I need a bunch of pumpkin carving Not because I don't already have a bunch, But 🎃 are my thing and i lovveee Halloween!! TFS!! Sad I missed the live.

Are they crazy charging that price? I'll buy a good Voluspa, Archipelago or Nest candle for that price (and those companies have never shipped me a shattered candle that was just thrown into a box with no packaging.)

The Halloween candles were $21 with sale and coupon and will probably become cheaper during a set-price sale. A Nest 3-wick candle is $80. That's still ~$60 more. And Nest 3-wicks have their own issues of being sooty and dudding out mid-range. I've tried many Voluspa candles and the majority of them have very little throw for the money. I think the value for BBW candles are still there.

My store had a 1wick Pumpkin Peanut Brittle. Have you or anyone else here smelled it? I don’t know if it’s my imagination (could be) but it smelled a bit more perfumy than before. A bit of the “perfuminess” that was in the original PB&J. Apple and Charcoal…yeah I thought it was just another apple when I smelled it. Looking forward to hearing how it burns.
