I appreciate your reviews so much because they’re so descriptive and honest. I also appreciate that you review scents not necessarily in your wheelhouse because we all have different scent preferences - I’m a Crackling Fireside girl and tend to repel from Vanilla Buttercream type scents (don’t 🔪 me) 😂. Because of you I keep my Homeworx candles on shelves in the basement and let them “cure” and it makes them so much stronger than when I can’t wait and burn one right out of the box. Also, P.S. I hate Pecan Pie too! Just don’t say that too loud in the South - you might not make it out alive. 😂

I love the gray embossed ceramic pumpkin so much, I have three, lol! I’m looking forward to pulling them back out soon. I sure hope Harry sells Haunted Woods without a pedestal somewhere because I’d like more for the HW Halloween pieces I already own.

I decorate for fall like a crazy person and then the week of Halloween I add some Halloween pieces. Don’t spray paint the pedestal...it is so gorgeous.

I purchased one set of the Pecan Praline and I kid you not I could smell them before I opened the PO Box at the Post Office!! I love love love it. And I also love Pecan Pie. My Momma made the BEST Pecan Pie ♡

1) I totally would spray paint the jack o’ pedestal and then pull it out for decorating a week or two before Halloween and give Stella some joy. 🙂 2) I love that you pretty much confessed that you catfish people walking into your home-smells like you’re baking but you don’t bake. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😉🙂

Walking into my house is 100% of the time a total disappointment lol. I can barely cook... much less bake lol! But, I have high hopes to change that starting this Fall. I have decided that I am going to become a crock pot chef. Not InstaPot, old fashioned crock pot lol. Chili's and stews, here I come! And yes, Stella talked me into keeping it as is.... She has stated that she wants it in the entry way for Halloween week haha! She told me if she "has to go back to school" then I have to do something that makes her happy that week lol! She is really working that "I need it to be summer forever" angle haha!

Amaretto Pumpkin was recommended to me a couple of years ago...I wasn't going to pick it up and had spent my allotted amount for the season....well, a lovely lady said "Nikki, grab it. You will love it." So, i thought "Oh fine. Twist my arm." It was such a surprise and I took wished I had 75 of them!! That scent is divine!

That grey pumpkin has been in and out of my cart so many times! I'm going back in to grab it now :) I think it's going to be a great decor piece afterwards. Vanilla Orchard is right up my alley. So ready for fall!

Love your candle descriptions. I pretty much know that if you like it, I will too. This is so helpful for future purchases. I too LOVE Praline Pecan and Vanilla Orchard, but only purchased one set, on waitlist but yeah me and 2000 other people. Looking forward to more HomeWorx reviews!

OH MY GOSH, the candle in the ceramic pumpkin may be my FAVORITE Pumpkin Fall scent EVER.~*~*~*~ I've bought 3 already! Tell Harry we NEED this in a 4-wick! Other favorite is the Pecan Praline! Gorgeous & Great Throw! Enjoyed the video!! Haven't returned my weak "Country Inn" trio yet. May let them sit & cure awhile as you suggested. Thanks for the "Pace yourself - More to come" comment. Definitely worth noting & abiding for me!! Autumn candles are just so good. Happy Week!

We finally differ in scent preferences 😜 I actually sent back the first candle you showed as it reminded me of the Glade bathroom spray my friends always had at their houses.🤷‍♀️ BUT I LOVE the fireside scent. I agree that if you like Winter Fireside, you’ll like that one too. The Praline Pecan is perfect for November. By then, I’m over pumpkin scents but not quite ready for Christmas ones. Bring on all the Fall/Christmas scents. Also, I legit walk into my closet & sniff my Fall/Christmas ones plenty of times during the summer because I just love all things Fall🤣

Vanilla Orchard Crisp looks like a December candle. Looks good. Praline Pecan looks wonderful. Crackling Fireside would be great for a cold winter's night. Cozy Knit Blanket would be a good scent to burn once a year. Amaretto Pumpkin please. Pumpkin Caramel Drizzle can be a win or a loss. I have Yankee's Salted Caramel and absolutely love it. Balsam White Birch sounds amazing! Haunted Woods sounds intriguing. Eucalyptus & Oak sounds unique. Nice haul. Sugared Apple from Yankee will be burned Christmas 2024.

Great cold reviews as usual. I can't wait to get your opinions on warm. It's so hard to "pace yourself" when some of the scents are so good and some sell out so very quickly(I'm with you on the pear in the trio. I'd buy more just for that one, but trying to wait on what's to come). I am so excited to see what the August TSV will be as well as the other fall/holiday scents.

I only started decorating for Halloween when my 10 y.o son started asking for Halloween decor every year the last few years so last year… I finally did the entryway and one shelf in my kitchen with the decocrated Halloween box (so cute!) plus some throw pillows… mostly witch themed (nothing too spooky) and the kids loved it! Maybe you could let Stella pick a few pieces and decorate one small space for the month? Just a thought! It might grow on you! 🥰

Idea for the pumpkin pedestal: you and Stella can hand paint the pumpkins to be white pumpkins, leaving the dark/black details as is. I think that would look fantastic and better match your decor!

Praline pecan is definitely my favorite this year so far. Probably returning Cozy Knit Blanket. I love sweater/blanket scents, but it seems so light on cold & too generic. I do LOVE Sweater Weather so may prefer Eucalyptus & Oak. I like that Halloween pedestal a lot. I add Halloween touches just for the month of October.

I have 3 sets of Cinnamon French toast and Christmas Cupcake on their way to me because I KNEW I'd love them. I have not smelled either (I know CFT came out last year so I had it, but have not smelled this years version). I did not get the newest trio because it has a peppermint option and I just don't like peppermint candles. I also feel like there will be another gingerbread type scent I can get on it's own. And since I have 3 of the Christmas cupcake coming, I feel like I don't need this set for just that candle.

I haven’t bought from yankee in years unfortunately (they really were not doing well for me) but I’ve heard one of their new styles of candle are amazing so I will for sure be trying a couple. Kringle doesn’t impress me unfortunately. Both times I’ve purchased I’ve been disappointed. The last time I actually sent everything back 🙁

I did not love deliciously apple the way most people do. It smells like the DKNY Red Delicious scent to me. It's a very perfumey apple scent and I don't love that. I like more fresh crisp real apple scents. Applewood Orchard I have out in the reeds right now and it's nice. it's a bit more of a classic Fall apple scent.

Melanie, HEELLLPPP! When will Haunted Woods come out and where will it be?? I wanted it so badly last year but I didn't want the pedestal...I think the label is perhaps my favorite label of all time even though I don't decorate for Halloween(like yourself).

I wish I could give you dates but unfortunately they are not available yet. Haunted Woods I expect to see on QVC for sure, it MAY pop up on the Homeworx site but I am not sure if it is a QVC exclusive yet. Some scents are.... It can be difficult to get info from Homeworx themselves because they are often times at the mercy of QVC and their release schedule, which they can flex at any give time, as we have seen. It would annoy me as a retailer selling here, but it is what it is I suppose.

That is the way Yankee always suggests to smell their candles. I think you can go either way. I do find myself smelling the lid sometimes, other times I just stick my nose in the wax lol.

Halloween is my favorite holiday!! We go all out decorating, costumes, parties, burning candles and trick or treating but then again, I have two Halloween babies so... 🎃👻 I want that Halloween candle with the graveyard pedestal SO BAD!!! I actually love the silver graveyard pedestal that it comes with and I'm super tempted!! I'm just worried because I really don't like the smell of rose scents 😬. I do love plum, amber and wood though!

If you hate rose... I'd skip it. But I will say, for a rose, it's done VERY well. It's almost Victorian smelling... like a beautiful victorian perfume or something.
