Huge Hot Wheels Heist Thomas AEG Stock Sadness & WHO STOLE BISCUITS 😱

An investigation into a very targeted Hot Wheels collectables heist where some Fast & Furious finger work has grabbed a wide variety of valuable American, European and Japanese Hot Wheels cars. I look over the dwindling Thomas And Friends All Engines Go stock in store with a special visit to a very messy & untidy store to see how amazing it looks. A week later I return to my favourite local retailer to see what thomas stoick has sold and what Hot Wheels have been tinkered with.

I remember when there was 3 entirely seperate ranges of Thomas all competing with eachother and succeeding on store shelves at the same time. Now the diecast equivalents and wooden railway are entirely absent while motorized barely exists anymore. I guess 15 years really is a lifetime on the toy industry.

What I remember clearly was in 2010 when Chuggington trains appeared Thomas & Friends toys were everywhere in multiple formats and doing all they could to smother Chuggers. I called it the battle between the Red and the Blue, as history tells the Blue won. But sadly the Blue is in really big trouble now.

Judging by the state of Thomas merch in stores I doubt we will get anything substantial for the 80th anniversary next year.

Unfortunately true, my local Walmart used to be wall to wall for Thomas merch, two aisles. Last time I was in store, nothing at all for Thomas. Sad, but a sign of our times. 😢

What stuns me is how bold as brass these people are, breaking into the Hot Wheels collectors packs in broad daylight and walking off with the merch. I just don’t understand what happened to morality. Anyways, Leo thanks for showing us exactly what’s going on out there.

This was a bit of a surprise attack, it has been very quiet related to Hot Wheels being stolen. The wire spiders were taken away from the 20 packs some 6 months ago now. Yes it was a fairly brazen grab at stock, I suspect it was done when the store is quiet. Their may have been multiple people involved, maybe a lookout assisted.

I always find it amazing that you can get space to film - my local Kmart is so busy I'd get reported to the police if I tried to film a video like this. It's also crazy messy - they never have it under control. Big W appears to be the remaining big box chain that might have some decent thomas stock these days... How Kmart has fallen since the days of my childhood!

I go to store at times when the thieves operate. The end piece relates to a shoplifter I saw who takes advantage of the store opening. They move in when the staff group exercise session is on in the middle of store (yes im not kidding), the shoplifter comes in with a medium size travel case and loads up, the window of opportunity is around 4 mins so they move fast. I confronted this shoplifter when they exited store but they just fobbed me off, people like this are as bold as brass. Once they are outside of store they win the battle. Thieves will always work out how to move stuff out of store, having the entrance without staff at any time is a fatal move. Advantage shoplifter.

The merch disturbution is hardly even there for the thomas franchise anymore. Its so sad seeing nothing when just a few years ago you couldnt escape thomas in stores and now you are lucky to find anything. I mean if mattel wants to sell toys they have to at least put them on shelves. The Hot wheels are very easy to find compared to Thomas as well. Keep in mind both these franchises are owned by mattel (sadly people think it is neccesary to resort to stealing) So mattel is clearly just letting the Thomas franchise be forgotten until it is dead. I dont think I even remember the last time I seen any Thomas anything in stores. Even in toy stores the Thomas section is so tiny I dont even think you can call it a section anymore. Also the youtube bots are a joke.

Im from America and even here the Thomas stock is absolutely abysmal. How can you expect to keep a brand running if you arent stocking stores with toys. You cant find thomas wooden railway at regular stores, theyre only at Barnes and Noble. Target which is one of the biggest stores hardly has a Thomas section at all, being maybe one empty peg and a playset. Walmart also hardly has any and has had the same 3 characters for a few months now, not having any new ones released. I dont know why Mattel isnt trying with Thomas toys, or why the stores cant stock the toys in an organised fashion :/

I find it a little confusing with these people who are making off with the Hot Wheels stock. I agree there's probably a particular person doing this, and my guess is it's a matter of grabbing the stock to resell online, based on the fact they're taking multiple duplicates of valuable items. In a way this doesn't make sense though, because from a collectors standpoint, if you're planning to resell something, it's worth more if it's still mint in the box. If that's what these thieves are looking to do, then why bother taking things out of the boxes then? Granted the box makes it harder to inconspicuously walk out of the store, but it just doesn't seem worth devaluing an item for that. Clearly someone has a lot of ambition to mess around with this. Also, I'm not so sure it's solely one person doing this, as just based on the amount of destruction and the time it would take to do such a thing, my guess is they've also got someone else acting as a lookout while they're in the process of lifting the stock. Probably also explains why they're able to do so much without getting caught.

Hey dude I know this is completely unrelated to the video but I have some questions about a female redback that has produced an egg sac but has been alone in an enclosure for six months. She also had her final molt about five months ago and the skin over her, uh, silk producing place, was intact with the final molt. Is it possible that the egg sac is empty? Will a redback produce empty egg sacs if no male is around? Sorry to ask this here and feel free to delete this comment if it's too out of place lol
