There's a sort of knock-on or butterfly effect ingame for this sort of thing - although the people affected the most are those that lost to the account in Championship and similar content, even those that have never directly interacted with the account may have lost out on rewards from rankings etc. It's incredibly unfair, and doubly so because it's by someone who should arguably be the #1 supporter & defender of the community

The devs have known about the artifact for close to the entirety of its existence. It does seem like much of the community was unaware of this very old topic brought back to the limelight, so that's good to hopefully fix things once and for all. It is clear that the devs have allowed it to be used this entire time. Solid popcorn content with the excerpts from chats, looking forward to more unrestricted content as this is a much more entertaining format than the same old stuff being regurgitated. I'm sure the devs could have done/can do a quick search through their servers highlighting any arti with this value still active and revert all of them back to what is claimed to be intended, but decided to let it ride as it seems that they didn't want to anger a solid group of spenders/players that are abusing this mistyped value in the shadows, not showing off the advantage they have over others. If I recall correctly, this arti was an arti that most players (including myself) ended up salvaging (because it looked underwhelming before being leveled and has fixed skills if I recall correctly), but we all had the chance to have it (again allegedly). No idea on details though, heard about it a long time ago when it was already too late so I don't have firsthand knowledge regarding it nor who else has it as I believe others apart from the player in question have kept it under wraps. It is likely that the devs have or can have a complete list of accounts with it if they wish to or have already checked (which could have ultimately influenced the inaction that we've witnessed with regard to the topic).

@@pandagamingdon Thanks for the additional context mate, I keep hearing about other instances of this artifact existing but I do think it seems odd none of them have shown up anywhere. I guess if people are only using them in non ranked PvE content it’s harder to spot, but i find it unlikely that someone could be that vigilant for such an long period of time, but who knows, maybe we will see more pop up

Most definitely, it's good that this is getting exposure again. It got swept under the rug and the devs have gotten away with just allowing it despite the original complaints and questions regarding the very specific artifact in question.

Me as a f2p player im mad about cheating, imagine how someone spending money on this game feels. If i remember right there was some bug with Auction house and some content creators posted about it after it was already patched and they used it to buy blessings cheap. Bro is not even a f2p and he cheated like lmao i imagine someone f2p doing it to get massive power boost but someone with strong account is just lame imo.

There is clearly nepotism between the CC Gandolf and the Devs. Maybe the fact that they both speak mandarin? Who knows. The fact still remains is dishonest gameplay. If this were in the court of law, negligence would have been found by both parties. (Gandolf and Devs) Manifestation is real, and the will to bring Justice is a powerful force in the universe. This act of lawlessness will not go unpunished. Shame shame shame on you Gandolf and the IMR management team. I am going to personally report their acts to the BBB and leave a disgusting taste of words in the reviews section on every application this game operates on. Starting with IOS. I appreciate poly taking the martyr role in this case, for standing up for what is right, rather than coward away from losing his status in the cc program. It brings light to all the players who spent thousands. This will also be spread word of mouth. And I will make sure it consumes every ear like a wild fire.

This is an exemplary case, but there are more occasions where he shows his true colors. I have been following his account to learn about the game. On numerous occasions, I have seen, and called out, misleading, over-inflated, and plain false comments on the game content incentivizing the user base to spend more money. I am not saying that's a direct conspiracy between him and the game creators here, but obviously, the guy has the incentive to cite 'the good spot that the game is in, people spending, etc, etc'. Unscrupulous weasel. And of course, the game won't punish their 'cash cow'. More power to you @polyphoniphilia - keep up the great investigative work! I hope your video makes the impact it should.
