Need the motivation today. Major cleaning today. A water line pipe broke in our kids bathroom and water was running through our kitchen lights and it went everywhere - used most the the towels in my house.. We found the pipe but now I have a large hole over my stove (dust) and one in the bathroom. will be cleaning that mess after my hubby and his brother fix another small leak and replace the shower head and sticker. Need to stay energized - its going to be a long day.

Your video popped up when I went into my subscriptions even though you did this 5 months ago! I have caught a few of your videos along the last several months. I loved your transformation!! The white really did open and brighten your kitchen! So what did you decide on the stools as final verdict and curtain? My vote would have been to spray paint the stool as I did not like the colour or farmhouse wood look in the pics and I agree with one person who said to move your curtain rod several inches higher and definitely white looks great! Although a soft beige would have gone with your “family” sign and counter! A sectional and coffee table with storage below is ideal or ottoman IKEA has some amazing coffee table/storage options for sure! Love to see the next few videos on what you decided! The “new” kitchen looks great. For the bar stools, perhaps spray painting them to see if you like it and then make the purchase. Spray paint is not very expensive and that might help you decide on the color.

I was thinking that. Speaking of spray painting bar stools and possibly saving some money, there's a trick to making a solid color look like aged wood. I don't know it, but I've seen it used by other youtubers on occasion, something about using wax over the solid color and wiping it off? I'm probably way off on that lol. Edit: I almost dumped my own comment here rather than just a reply lol.

The white cabinets look so good!!! It really open up your kitchen and makes it look brighter and bigger! I think the kitchen curtain looks fine as is. Have you thought about maybe just painting your barstools a different color instead of buying new ones?

I like the gray stools. I think a gray curtain similar to the stainless steel could pull that gray in that direction in a classy way or leave the white. The white cabinets and lights totally made that room look amazing. So excited for you!

Hi Jamie, 2 of the options for the stools are so close to what you have now, I’d just paint the original stools and save some $$. As far as your curtains go, those look really pretty, however, I’d raise the rod all the way up, and that would make more of a statement. I hope you find my suggestions helpful. Congrats on the new kitchen Reno! It is always nice to brighten things up and make it your own. I like barstools two and three. I agree that fabric will be tough to keep clean with little hands but they look very nice. Anything you pick will be great. You can also paint what you already have. The curtains are great and help to brighten the space. The kitchen is so bright now that your living room looks dark in the evening! Can’t wait to see the new furniture!

I think you have a beautiful home and I am so happy for you that you and your husband can make the changes you have wanted to make. Option 2 for the chairs! Spray some scotchgard spray on the fabric and you'll be good! Also, bring those curtain rods high and wide (above that upper window above the doors) it will make the room feel even bigger. Ikea has the best selection for long curtains without breaking the bank. I think white curtains are beautiful and classic!

Love the kitchen!! I think you should match the stools to the chairs in dining area!! At least color-wise!! Love those white curtains but again perhaps a light grayish color - keep in mind your countertops too Option 3 looked good too!! The kitchen turned out fabulous!!. The white cabinets really brighten up the kitchen and makes the hardware pop. For barstools i would definitely go with option 2. Don't be afraid of them getting dirty from the kids. My barstools are fabric and i cover them with pillow cases and take them off when company is coming. For curtains i think a solid grey will be really pretty TFS!!

The white cabinets look so pretty! My pick for barstools is option 1...I think you’ve already got enough white and brown. Adding a little gray would be a nice touch. Didn’t you say your couch was going to be gray? If so, I think that would really tie things together! As for the curtains, is there any way you could do a sort of super slim blind or covering instead of curtains? The curtains and rod look sort of “heavy” and I wonder if getting rid of the fabric would visually open up that area? Just my opinion.🤷🏼‍♀️ Can’t was to see your new furniture and the other changes you make!

Option 2 - love the classic look. Curtains - it would depend on the colour of your sectional but I would definitely change the fabric. Love your white kitchen - much more modern and very bright.

Love love love the kitchen😍😍 I vote option 2 for the bar stools. With a steamer you should be able to keep them clean. Also maybe a warmer colour for the curtains, so they blend better with the warmer tone of the countertops. L8ke a creamy white? And I think if the curtain is hanging higher, closer to the ceiling, it will look like the ceiling is higher too. And one last tip, hope you don't mind, how about changing the hardware of the cabinets, like a soft gold colour? It might look better with the countertop. Just some ideas from someone who's very excited for your home upgrades😁 I see a few comments on painting the bar stools, that's an even better option👏🏼👏🏼

Option 3! As for curtains, target twin xl sheets in white for an inexpensive but cute looking option. Add the “clip rings” and it really elevates the room imo. Also, a coffee table will look great!

Love the kitchen. Option one for the stools. Curtains are fine but you could look at getting some horizontally striped ones in shades of grey. You could get a nest of tables rather than a coffee table. You can then just pull them out when you need them. Very motivating watching you clean. X

You were just so happy showing your new kitchen cabinets! It all looks fantastic! I would go for option 3 for the stools to tie in with the warmer counter color. And for kitchen drapes I would match your wall color. They would blend in better and if you’re still thinking of painting the walls a different color then match that.

Your cabinets look so fresh and amazing!! I’d suggest spray painting the bar stools matte white and then distress them to allow for the brown to pop through here and there. Or if you like the look of the gray and white washed bar stools. You could always chalk paint gray and let that fully dry and go back on top with a white paint and distress to allow for the gray to show through. Love the new updates!!!

I’m not usually a fan of white cabinets, but they make such a difference in your kitchen! They also make the countertops and backsplash stand out more. For barstools I prefer option 1, but they are so similar to the ones you have that I’d just paint your current ones. I love the white curtains and they’d also work well if you paint the walls grey. I’d go with a bluish grey on the walls if you desire to paint. I also thin a navy curtain would work, but on the beige walls the white looks good.

Yay! the new kitchen looks awesome. For the bar stools I like option 2 I know fabric and kids don't match well sometimes but you have a carpet cleaner with a attachment if they do spill. For the curtains I would do a two toned (or even stripped) white and navy. I think it would work well with the kitchen colors and tie in some of the Navy you have on your back patio.

I like option 2 or 3 for the stools. I think the white curtains still work in your kitchen. If you really wanted to change them, a light grey would work too. You may also want to wait until the couch comes in too before deciding! Your kitchen looks great!!

Love the white cabinets. Bar stools go with the white with the fabric. Have the fabric treated with a spray on barrier. The other timber ones don't go with any other timber in the room. The curtains go with something close to the fabric on the stools. You want it to look like you chose the furniture and curtains with intention.
