I have no idea how the original Devs thought making the Nuke so weak vs GLA with how strong the Scud Storm is on everything else was anywhere near balanced.

I think they erroneously believed that China had the better units all around compared to the other factions, so the underpowered nuke was a balancing factor. I don't think they foresaw the rockvee meta, nor the devastating potential of a well micro'ed GLA.

Nukes are Good against USA because it just kills every USA buildings have Meanwhile GLA holes will just recover , making Nukes bad against GLA overall 1 nuke = 2 Overload and 1 Outpost Or 1 Nuke = 1 Nuke cannon , 1 Overload and 1 Outpost There's just better option btw

This. This imho is one of the biggest flaws in zero hour that i wish they would patch. He launched one right next to a gla arms dealer and it DIDNT EVEN GO DOW TO THE HOLE. Not to mention it has the longest timer, just why? Then his internet center got oneshot buy a scud storm... Man this would be so easy to buff/nerf too.

beautiful play by the tank player, i just don't understand why he was building so many gats against GLA, the one country with zero air units, especially after he got the nuke tank upgrades, i think if he had transitioned into purely tanks with air support for inf he would have had an easier time

gats have range and fire power advantage against both quads and tunnel. Battlemaster are slow and jamal kill gonna be a menace. Like domi said merry going for turtle with hackers cost him lots. i think if merry invest half what he invest on migs than on bunker helix he could have bulldoze all the way to the win.

Been watching a lot of old videos from the catalog lately, and the recurring theme is that Merry just does not know how to finish games. He typically initiates strong, but then just kind of lets all of the momentum fall off and makes a lot of non-committal pokes that achieve nothing. Game should have been over when those helixes pushed in over the arms dealers. He had the production locked down. Never should have backed off from there, should have sent everything in on that.

His start was amazing, but then like domi said he wasted his money on overpriced hackers and migs late game. Almost all of glas support powers count china late game. Bounty for rebel ambush, sneak attack, tox bokb for hackers, cash bounty for money, gls scarambler for quads to kill migs... not to mention he refused to get nuclear tank speed upgrade and autoloaders. Like seriously he just needed to bomb the bunkers, and use nuke speed auto loader battlemasters ecms to push through to the scuds. The late game was extremely dissapointing from Merry

@Lukas Paulick I completely agree with you, but to get to a late game with vivid is definitely an achievement in my opinion. Merry made many mistakes and could have potentially won. But that being said he still managed to hold vivid off
