How many bets with each bookmaker did you place? I know that the standard rule of thumb is to only place as many bets as the bookmaker is offering in extra places, but did you place more?

Ideally, the best way to go at e/w dutching is to split the risk to gubbings over various accounts and bookies. Targeting high-profile races is also usually safer than less high profile for account preservation

Absolutely, E/W dutching has a huge edge where bookies quite often become overexposed. Other EP methods are still profitable but it will take a longer period of time to gain an adequate amount of profit, these methods, however, are typically much safer for account preservation
