The large pistol with the Comp is an E.A.A Witness. (made by tanfolglio) That gun has been imported into the USA twice now..5:20 you can see the original import mark. E.A.A. Hialeah Florida. It was somehow then exported to wherever.. then RE-IMPORTED.. quite a story to tell on that gun. The holes on the left side of the frame were for an optional competition scope mount. Crazy!

Got several witnesses and absolutely- you dont see this one too often, and like you said- the scope mount holes too! wow. Theres a pretty good site out there where you can look up the tanfoglio year from your sn. I've been doing a huge survey of newer Astras and found that occasionally they get double import marked, EAA and CAI. I thought maybe they were being import stamped overseas, and then for whatever reason another importer would buy out the lot and then restamp it when it got here. With the A80, a lot were sent back for slide cracks, whereby they were refit and resold yadda yadda. So many awesome mysteries

Witnessed a Tanfoglio used by Eric Grauffel at the World Shoot XIII. His armorer brought 2 exact same guns, one for practice and one for the competition. He shot something like 10K in one month on that gun and went on to shoot it at the actual competition and won with it. I can’t remember if it was the World Shoot XIII or XII but boy that gun did not miss a beat!

get you a CZ 70 and get it refinished. Midnight blue cerakote is good enough. There's a gun shop in your area that needs your quick refinish job. I love my CZ 70. Trust me, a 32 ACP can stop a Toyota Camry (Keltec P32 lol)
