Shaun I hope you're reading this and just know no matter how bad things are at the moment they will get better been down many a dark lonely road and have learnt the only way is to keep pushing on. Just like Oscar we are all here for each and everyone of the Torquers. Ben at least you didn't mess up as bad as I did Friday just gone. The morning was going well replacing a roof out the back of a ice cream shop was smashing the to do list out the park and then after lunch it all went Breast side up, Batteries died on the tools etc etc then as I was up on the roof I went to turn around and misplaced my left foot ended up going through the roof, Have a bashed up left side of my body but nothing broken and No lasting damage apart from a bruised ego and making more work for myself.

I used to have a Honda Pan European - had it recovered one day, and the chap that recovered it put the straps too high up the forks, bending the plastic outwards. You did a much better job strapping it from the seat. Re the loose bars, that happens with the aftermarket extenders. The cops stopped using the Pan years ago. Pans are a niche bike in the UK these days, especially as old as that 04 (mine was an 02) - and that 04 was a damn nice example. Nice set of farkles on it too. I now ride a BMW K1600 GTL - 60kg heavier than the Pan. I've called breakdown to it, near you, too. But BMW decided to use another firm. :(

Hey Oscar keep positive buddy we are all behind you. Ok to your story buddy not wrong garage but wrong car , so there is a place called warrior square gardens in Hastings, I was given keys to a red and white Citroen 2cv dolly to recover to local Citroen garage . Found said car in the gardens opened it and put the keys in ignition and winched it on. When I arrived at the garage the customer was there and said that's not my car unless it's been restored . I called the breakdown club and ran the details same year and virtually the same reg . I quickly drove back and parked it back up , sure enough down the road about 20 yards was indeed another red and white 2 CV dolly lol. Love how much care you took with strapping it down mate 👍 👏👏👏 I waited 18hrs overnight for the RAC to recover me and my bike. They said leave it I the services on the M20 and they would collect it without me. NO WAY would I leave my bike to be collected without me seeing it done but a massive well done to you 👏👏👏👏👏👏

My mate was riding a Pan doing 120 on the Autobahn in Germany, he hit a scaffy boad that had been dropped by an open back wagon, it blew both tyres and mashed both rims, but the bike stayed upright while braking, they are cracking bikes. Ahh the days of delivering bikes from 125,s through sports bikes to bigass 1700 cc Victorys and 2 ltr Rocket III's in the back of a transit, loads of fun.

I'm still working through your videos, but as I subscribe to 243 channels so I'm a bit behind. 😉 I used to have a big bike, a Harley Davidson Night Train. I bought it new 22 years ago, it was my first bike as a mid life (third life?) crisis purchase. At 300kg plus panniers I missed my footing when I stopped and laid it down on the kerb. I had to call my 70 year old mum to help me pick it up at the side of the road! Talk about embarrasing! I don't ride anymore. As a novice rider the Harley put me off as it was a Friday afternoon bike with just about everything wrong with it straight from the factory. I should have started with a 'normal' bike. 😆

I had to laugh a) because you visited my local filling station & b) in the 1990's I bought a racing sidecar & hired a 24" (way oversized but all they had on the day) trailer. I fitted the 7 ft sidecar on this - but then on the journey back the trailer electrics failed - in the dark! The recovery company sent out a lunatic hugely long low loader to carry both the trailer and the tiny bike together! It was like a harvest mouse on top of two blue whales!

Ha ha it happens to the best of us i picked a silver Vectra up off a drive on big housing estate delivered it to garage ,2 days later they asked me to pick it up and drop it back on there driveway simple ? they also had a camper on the drive but said they away leave car put key through letterbox job done ? no i only put it on next door but one's drive, night time house in darkness oops house was empty and up for sale, had to phone agent to explain my mistake to get key odd thing was it was garage that phoned me customer not noticed his car 2 houses away and phoned them to see where his car was funny now looking back

Bikes are a bitch to recover, only done one, years ago, bloody heavy, bloody fragile and a bugger to move on your own!!! Question though, can you put them across the spec? Off to Mansfield to pick up a Motorhome tomorrow, drive through Newark, then to Bottesford, well Normanton, for the night, before returning to Wiltshire on Wednesday, new home, until we ‘emigrate’ to The Outer Hebrides 😊 Wrong garage🤭, confusion reigns.
