Every driver hits that point, whether they want to or not. Without a two car team fighting, you can forget any manufacture titles!

How can you discount Hamilton and Leclerc, or even Sainz, to compete next year for the drivers championship. It may be easy to overlook Russell, but I think just having Hamilton on Ferrari will raise Leclerc to compete for the championship, and Verstappen and Noris may be in the mix, but they will have a hard time winning the championship next year, I think Norris missed his chance this year, and he may never get that close again!

This year's results do not guarantee anything for next season. I think RBR is a great example. Pure domination in 2023 and 3rd in 2024.

Dude, they are doing it so they can get some on track experience while they build their own engine down the road. If they are a part of the grid for 2025 or 2026, no one is expected them to be fighting for a contractor title right off the bat

You mean like the Mercedes B spec engines that McLaren finished in first place in the constructors with this year. I think it makes a ton of sense to do this. To focus on the engine for 2027 is a better investment.
