MK to me is far beyond a patch fixing anything. The issues of greed, lies, deceit through silence, unfinished product still missing the very fn basic feature “online rooms”. NRS needs to publicly address the community the state of the game the reason behind 1 skin for dlc fighters when we had 4 styles in the gen before, missing features, missing content, bug after bug,. MK1 is a cash grab soulless MK title. There is no identity anymore. This season had 1 skin in the shrine and then it was empty….come on. Stop defending this trash people. 3:55 Hi, Li Mei main here (probably not that worth of an achievement...). Her new 4312 string is a MASSIVE improvement for two things: Special canceling and matchup oriented gameplay. Against that string, Li Mei had a very large gap in the end of that string where a lot of armor intensive characters could punish her heavily for using that string. Kung Lao, Smoke, Johnny Cage, and even some, "low-tier", characters like Sub-Zero could armor through that final knockback punch, and severely punish her for using it. The reason why Li Mei mains use this string is because it's a 10 frame high with a much better range compared to the rest of her stubby normals. Keep in mind, not armoring this attack would result in a 50% damage combo.... With a 16 frame finish, you can now punish enemies that let go of the block button to throw in certain attacks or specials. This now forces some of Li Mei's weaker matchups to continue to wait for the string to end for them to execute their attacks and combos. Pair this with a now mid attack sky lantern and a 0 frame advantage on block overhead, and now you have one of the best space controllers in the game. Feel free to correct me on my mistakes, Because I'm kind of garbage at explaining things. Hope this helps in some way shape or form!

They are better at fvcking up games than fixing them. Absolutely the worst patch ever for any peacemaker player. I don’t even want to play the game or any Netherrealm game ever again. They did the same thing to injustice 2 and ironically, all the characters that I loved to play in injustice two they completely destroyed and now they’re destroying the characters. Let's just all admit that NRS doesn't actually wanna nerf JC lmfao Going after his parry and how punishable his shadow kick is on miss?.... really? As a Johnny main, this doesn't affect me in the absolute slightest. I expect my missed shadow kicks to be punished and 8/10 they usually are. Admittedly, throwing out parrys in the middle of strings is a solid nerf albeit inconsequential. I've gone many many MANY sets without needing to use it other than situations where parrying works like 6-7/10 times. NRS... if you're reading this... we get it. You love Johnny lol All you did was give him his #1 👑 back with this patch.

Also, as another note, the overcorrection of nerfing peacemaker to living hell is going to backfire as it usually does. It's never a middle ground with these kinds of things. Always too much or too little. JC and John Cena are perfect examples of this.

The parry nerf is quite meaningful at a decent level simply cose u don't have to worry anymore about getting parried on a string gap or more importantly on a knock down and can actually pressure him on wake up

It just discourages people who know its issue NOT to use it and encourage those who it's used against improperly to punish it. But Johnny in no way, shape, or form NEEDS it. What makes Johnny top 1 has nothing to do with his parry. It was just icing on the proverbial cake lol But I do understand what you're saying.

@@BuddyChy it really doesn't help her actual problems, she got a safe launcher for a bar basically, but still has the worst overhead in the game, has the worst cancel pressure despite it also costing bar to do, has no actual mixup without khamelon (which now puts Nitara at 850), has the worst projectile in the game, I was hoping for an actual buff to her buttons, not just another slightly more optimal combo route, they have neglected the fuck out of her.
