I decluttered fragrances recently, I have been realizing that powdery and overly sweet just make me want to wash the perfume off right away! But I am getting better at being more selective at identifying and buying those that I truly love!

Oh, I love a good declutter! I don’t know why, but it is almost therapeutic to watch these. 😆 I do like finding out why people let go of certain products though. I think it’s almost more helpful than hearing why you enjoy favorites.

I love Samsara. I have the new formulation in the bee bottle but to my nose I get more cinnamon than sandalwood. Wonder if anyone else gets that? I probably need to try the old formulation or find another sandalwood fragrance because it's one of my favorite notes.

What are some new ones on your wishlist for 2021? I want to get my hands on ALL the tonka perfumes. Jo Malone Myrrh & Tonka, Byredo Eleventh Hour, Lilac Love by Amouage, and so many Guerlain fragrances.

Love Myrrh & Tonka! The new La Belle Le Parfum is on my list for sure as well as Kilian Apple Brandy and Tom Ford Vanille Fatale. I'm also thinking of getting Loubirouge.

I tried Love Don’t Be Shy Extreme here recently, and was surprised that I slightly preferred it to the original as well! I’ll probably pick it up once I finish the original as I find them similar enough to not have both at the same time

Well done! Tara! These videos are so cathartic. Aw man I just smelled that Neroli Blanc Intense in a sample and I love it! Can’t get it from Oz though 💔 I find I actually wear orange blossom more in colder months - even though I feel like they would logically be better suited in the warmer months. But I know what you mean I get over certain notes too. I feel the same about Oud Bouquet - I have the older version which is even more loud- but for some reason I just cannot part with my bottle *sigh*

Yay transitioning to better homes! 😊 I’ve got a giant spreadsheet of my collection and after analyzing it... have decided to sell most of my 3-star bottles. I have plenty of 4 and 5 star bottles so I’m usually reaching for those more. I’ll keep a few 3-stars if they’re truly unique or important for another reason besides the rating. I love Mercari for the ease too. 🤗 🙏🏽💟✊🏾☯️⚛️

I love declutter videos! I need to do the same and they give me hope that everything will be ok when I let go. Lol I bet it feels good! Also curious about Mercari. I need to sell and I’m part of fragrance groups so I could sell there but I don’t always have time for the PMs and such. Does Mercari take quite a bit? Do you think it’s worth it for the convenience?

Hey Laura! Thanks! Mercari takes 10% plus a processing fee that seems to be around 3% I think. So yeah, a pretty decent chunk. If I had more time (like during breaks) I would definitely go the facebook route, but at the moment it's worth it for me as like you said all the DMs take time, plus creating shipping labels, etc.

watching this has made me re appreciate my oldies...I just looked up the new maison lancome bottle designs and am so happy to have the double gold plate bottles, it looks like the cuts are finer and more intricate too. i'm now down to 118 FBs not including decants and atomizers, and I don't think I can edit anymore lolll. how many bottles are you down to? I need some motivation lolll :) There are a bunch of bottles I don't reach for but I keep them around as reference scents.

Yeah, I just re evaluated my collection. I’m not going to edit anymore. On the weekends, I enjoy wine after tucking the kids to bed and just spraying on test strips to experience my collection 😜

When did you pass 4K Tara?? Congratulations! 💖 I know what you mean by that Ombre Leather potency. For a while I exclusively used it for layering, but always decanted it into a travel atomizer so that it simply sprayed less juice. One of the first fragrances that pushed me to develop the every-bottle-deserves-a-travel-atomizer policy. Section 2C-paragraph 4. 🤣

The narguille one is very sweet, vetiver and feu de bois smell like the house burning down, the patchouly will help you keep flies out the house 😂😂😂 They're all really good, if you like the vanilla you might like the benzoin
