18:00 the A3 spot chk jamming flop, they are the plays that sets ben apart from all over tourney pro's i watch, its these plays and exploits that others are not coming up with, where ben is eating up all that extra/ hidden EV

10:50 Ben wouldn’t be better to call here for set mining, considering the BB presence and if oppo 4bet we then have to fold?

Was a9s also a open according to solver in the first hand? Raise range of bb seems so tight that it makes me think it’s not

Pairrd tool looks good. But how is this different from GTOW trainer?
@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
more focused on explaining a lot of the spots and helping you to understand the why behind certain strategies.
@88jouman6 ай бұрын
Sorry Ben, but the dude who called A9s has one of the best results in the world last 2 years. And ur right. If ur range is AT+ its a punt. But you should have some low Ax as a bluff jam in theory so his call is probably good. The villain who called is megacrushing
@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
You understand ICM. At least I hope so. You make the impression that you are quite certain. 30bb stacking off A9s for an insignificant small bounty is just a punt. Just because I will have an occasional A4 or A5 doesn't justify calling a 30bb limp/jam for your tournament life. 1) I doubt he has the best results. Maybe we are using different sources. 2) Even if he has, we all make bit punts. If you use the results as metric to defend someones plays, it shows how little you know.
@88jouman6 ай бұрын
@@RaiseYourEdge maybe its a punt maybe not but you also made it sound certain it is a punt. Even though he actually has really insanely good results. So he must of had a reason for his play. Maybe he gave u credit for having alot of a4 a5 type shoves and with AQ AK AJ you would RFI or limp 3bet non all in to induce. You said almost like he is dead money. Im sure he had good reasons for his play. Instead of calling a play a punt is always better to think why did he make that decision
@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
cant argue with a fool. Sorry buddy but you are the one that cant admit being off. You clearly have never done any icm studying. You can justify anything with "because he has good results, he must have his reasons". Thats your main argument. I tried, all the best.

Hey Ben, why do you play some of your tables displaying your stack in big blinds and others displaying total chips?

So I’m a winning poker player I play $16 as my highest buy in right now which is low stakes with a bankroll of $2000. Should I wait until I get to $30 and higher which think are mid-stakes to buy TMC. Like you input please

19:33 this is not a jam, it works better as a limp call or OR call. KJo does always jam thought
@RaiseYourEdge6 ай бұрын
ok coach. So you expect population to rejams all those Kxo Qxo GTO rejams yeah? Always good to have the GTO experts in comments.
@alexneagu71496 ай бұрын
@@RaiseYourEdge it doesn't matter what "population" does. It matters more what Ceis does, and yeah, I expect him to be pretty aggressive vs limp. On Wednesday I limped in a similar spot and a guy ROL jammed T6o haha. You never know. On the other hand, you're not mentioning the benefit of them hitting top pair with J8o on J42. If you don't expect them to jam K3o when you limp, you stack them when the board comes K72. They're not calling K3o or J8o when you jam so yeah, it's better to limp or to open raise. Mostly open raise I would say. Otherwise you just make them fold worse hands. You don't get EV just by them ROL jamming K3o and Q2o but also by hitting good pairs and draws postflop, so please don't reduce the debate on them jamming or not K2o when you limp. Jamming this hand in ICM is a punt and you just get called by good hands. And please, don't come at me with this "ok coach" cocky attitude. Don't take it personal. We all make mistakes.

@@alexneagu7149 If you wouldnt be so convinced about yourself, I would also give you a more respectful feedback. Obviously I am taking guys like you not seriously. You are the prime example of someone trying to make solver approved plays but never succeeded in playing poker. 1) You come up with one spot you had on Wednesday? Do you know the term samplesize and variance? 2) Your think you know better what Ceis does than me? When I played thousands of hands against him and you only know him from YT Videos? 3) You base your argument around some random boards? What about if he checks and the flop comes 624 and he hits with his 72 and we have to xF? This just shows me you have 0 clue how evaluating EVs across multiple different outcomes. You are that typical guy that builds his ego around solver scores but actually has 0 foundation and idea on how poker really works. This wouldn't be a problem if you would show some humility and I am happy to help you. 4) Jaming in ICM is a punt with PKO here where I am quite short? Dude you obviously have never run an ICM PKO spot. Also, we jam to take down the blinds and its insanely +EV. I have to give you credit though, for reaching 10/10 on the dunning kruger scale.
@alexneagu71496 ай бұрын
@@RaiseYourEdge I am convinced because I studied the spot, something you clearly haven't done enough. You don't understand how the it works. Forget about the spot I mentioned, it's just an example (BTW a random brazilian ROL Shoved J9o for 13bbs in my 25$ deeprun yesterday in the same spot when I limped TT) I don't need to play 5ks to recognize you are making a mistake in this spot. Ceis ROL calls/punt you some hands later with A9s for... 30-35bbs in the same spot and you tell me he's not gonna ROL jam enough when you limp? Of couse he will since he knows your range just doesn't contain strong hands. You are gonna limp fold every single time. But even if he doesn't, limp or OR is more profitbale. The way the spot works, you are supposed to jam almost all offsuited Ax, KTo-KQo, 22-77 since they have poor playability postflop, most of the low Ax suited and hands like J9s and T8s. KJs is too strong to jam. I'm not basing my argument on "random boards" or being results oriented but you clearly do "what if the flop comes 624" hahaha. I'm just saying KJs it's more profitable as a limp or as a OR Call. Yo are so entilted you haven't even considered the posibility of this being true but I can show you some sims so you can stop embarasing yourself at those 5k FT's in front of 2k viewers. Shoving might not a punt but it's definitely not the most profitable move. Humility might not be my thing but it is DEFINITELY not yours either. Yo are the most arrogant and entilted strreamer ever and everyone knows that. I still love you because you are one of the GOATs but please, grow up, accept criticism, and STUDY THE FUCKING SPOT.
