I guess for people that don't have as many crystals the premium one is better considering you need less crystals to get gold character.... why would you want lots of silvers if they are weaker and take longer to get to a decent level, just wait for a good gold.... on another note, anyone knows if premium chests openings stack? Or do I have to buy 5 in a row?

Look again at the pack that costs 150. There are NO chests that contain 110 fragments of the hero. None of 27 silver chests had it. And that's why premium hero chest is much better, but it's only my opinion and you can disagree with it ;)

Its only if you get a lot of silver in a row. 9 silvers in regular chest in a row gurantee the 10th to be a gold. Premium chest its 4 silvers in a row then the 5th gurantee a gold. You can still get more gold when opening 10 at once. Got 3 gold earlier when i opened 10 at once and wet my pants when dat happen.
