48 hours ago when discussing the Romero incident Ange said he never publicly criticises his players. Then he decides to make Werner a scapegoat for his own god awful tactics. Hypocrite!

Son played much worse than Werner, yet he keeps getting a pass, he lost the ball countless times against Rangers. Ange should never have called out Werner like that. It was probably a signal upstairs to get rid of him and bring in a new player in the Jan window. Lange said numerous times he is a huge werner fan and tried to get him into Villa when he was part of the setup back then. Tottenham have a problem beating any team whose defenders sit deep back. Any team that plays open game and high defense line are punishable. This team need a strong defensive mid fielder to protect the defense. Benteco on his day is good but wears out and cannot play 90m We should train Sarr and Gray for this position. If Ange is dissatisfied With why hasn't he tried Djed Spence being a wing back in his position? In my opinion defensively Dragusin is improving quite rapidly and if he may be two footed then Romero's position is up for takes.

Cracks are beginning to show with AP. In his whole career success as manager whether in Australia, Japan or at Celtic he has always had the highest spends / support in the leagues he has been in. He was really unknown till he came to Celtic where the spend over rangers was 3 to one. The depth of his squads was noticeable. Now ??? He hasn't got the depth of squad even at £650 Million quid. He should however been able to put out a squad team under his single minded tactics and have a thoroughly professional disciplined approach to beating Rangers ( 3rd in Scotland , squad £60m ). My point is that he should expect a shift is put in by someone on £175K a week wages, and who should not need a cuddle and pep talk to lead the troops. These guys are supposed to be the gladiators of sport not spoiled brats who sulk when on the bench. Think about that, £175 grand a week and then fail to break sweat. Yes, all this should be dealt with internally, completely agree but press conferences are designed to get inside the heads of managers and AP has opened up, probably intentionally...? was this a banana skin or a bullet ?
