Looks like one farmer put out more fire than 20 trucks and three helicopters.

How did they get all those units from the middle of nowhere
@MLFIREVIDEOS5 жыл бұрын
Most of them are 4x4 or 6x6 with large tires that are able to traverse the wild lands and get to the fire.

@@MLFIREVIDEOS I mean where are the fire stations lol. were the units from everywhere across the county?
@MLFIREVIDEOS5 жыл бұрын
Oh I apologize. We have very strong mutual aid agreements so usually fires of this size require a 'county wide mobilization' in which any and all available units from the 15 districts in the county will respond. Usually 1 to 3 units each but combined makes for an impressive response. Hope that helps.

Farmers do this all the time where I'm from in eastern Oregon. Making a fire break, you got to do what you got to do.

It is against the law now to fly drones at the fire scene unless the fire dept are using them. (Not really sure on that)
@MLFIREVIDEOS6 жыл бұрын
ALBERTO MADEIRA JR This isn't done footage. I was up on a ridge over looking the fire.

would it be possible to use some of your raw video, if you still have the files, for a wildfire training program for firefighters? please email me at bethc@action-training.com. thanks.

Would be curious to know if this is drone footage being taken while firefighting aircraft are in the air??
@MLFIREVIDEOS6 жыл бұрын
R G Absolutely NOT. I was perched up on a plateau about 1.5 miles away using my Nikon P900 83x zoom. Thank you for your concern.
