Dinosaur Simulator just released a huge update! This one comes with a brand new map, with new skins, including the Ripper Avinychus, Star Wraith Diplodocus, and Reefback Archelon! There are also a few new remodels, like the Archelon, Xenophysis Coelophysis, and the Black Leviathan Elasmosaurus. It's been a while since a huge update like this has come to Dinosaur Simulator, let's check it out!

All wrong, this only happened because Chicken allowed it, and DS still worse than DA. Number of players dosent equals quality.

@@AcaciuusYour wrong, DA was a flop because the concept was a flop its quality was obviously higher because its a newer game but the idea of DA was to niche and to arcadey not everyone likes all blocky dinos or the arcadey feel, DS on the otherhand all tho lower quality offered a mix of arcadey gameplay and growing dinos in a more realistic slow paced way and DS is far more direct when it comes to getting popular well known dinos

By the way for people who didn’t know Black leviathan has 70+ meters or range almost over 80 meters It’s op but eventually it’s gonna get hard nerfed Hope this helps

I really wish they didn't abandon DA considering it likely will be the better game despite it being discontinued, DS has a lot of issues like the grind, and the ''combat'', not to mention a source code that is older than some people actually playing the game, and especially the trading scene with how many times there have been ways to duplicate skins. It's just sad to see the direction chicken has gone.

Well can you really blame him? Da just wasn’t doing good enough to actually be worth working on. Imagine pouring your heart and soul into a game just for people to rather play fucking meep city or skibidi ohio rizz simulator over it. The game never had more than 200 players thanks to people clinging onto ds instead of giving da a try. I wish people didn’t paint the devs as being money hungry all the time, jeez..

You are clearly not an og fan of DS or else you would have said differently. The game didnt die off until the devs stopped updating it to focus on a blocky game.

@@LazarClawz I've played DS ever since 2015, the game doesn't die because people have intense levels of nostalgia despite its lackluster gameplay. Not to mention they like to stick to the game where they have all their data likely with actually limited skins which Chicken said himself in a conversation with me about returning to DS(I wonder if I screenshotted it?)

DA was a failure since launch, the most players I’ve seen on one time was 1k and it would normally stay at around 300 and below

No, it only got worse because of the abilitys update and the lack of new dinos outside the Era expansion season. DS stil garbage, dont let nostalgia fool you.

All your arguments have no basis whatsoever, DA was made in an attempt to improve the old concept of the 2015 DS, square dinosaurs with minute changes to the gameplay so that the gameplay would be more active and dynamic, unlike this crap Dinosaur Simulator which is a waiting simulator. Furthermore, DA had a better interface and the models have the same standard, while DS has 450 models made by more than 20 people in several different and conflicting ways. Anyway, I'm not going to waste any more time arguing with you, in fact, you're exactly the guy who gets blinded by cynical and cheap nostalgia.

I love the new updates they've added to DS. There are only a few things I don't like. The map is Really laggy for an xbox players, I cant buy any creatures due to there no longer being a cursor & I have to wait around 15 to 30 minutes for EVERTHING to load in the map. I can still play the game, its just I would rather not have unloaded parts of the map and constantly having having to hook up my computer mouse to buy something. The bushes are always gray for me too.

DNA is getting a change in terms of public servers, where it is going to be: Growth Rate Multiplier × Days (caps at 100) × (Players in the server ÷ max amount of players) While currently, it is: Growth Rate Multiplier × Days (caps at 25)
