My dryer has Wi-Fi, I am 68 bad knees, so much easier to check how much time is left on the dryer, instead of having to do the steps to the basement. So yes I love wi-fi on my dryer.

Return policies and brand loyalty....The original LL Bean flagship store in Maine has AMAZING return policies. As in stupid and short term money losing amazing. College students would buy an entire wardrobe in August before the school season. Then in June (before the summer break) they would show up with a pile of khakis and flannel shirts full of stains, rips, patches and they would say "I want to exchange these I do';t like them anymore". Nod nod wink wink -- LL Bean would give them FULL CREDIT towards new stuff. Wash rinse and repeat for 3 years. How does this BENEFIT LL Bean? When these kids become lawyers, doctors, congress people, Government managers, etc...they have an amazing loyalty and buy from Bean for decades ...

I used to have major flakage in my beard and I started with Neutrogena T/Sal in less than a week it was gone. Really good seeing Schiit getting modern, some years ago they did a Q&A stating they will never go that direction, so really big for them!

Interesting app. I can see it being a big help for the beginner figuring out their system but beyond that? Also on the streamer thing, I'd like to see Schiit make an enclosure and DAC top-hat for the a Pi and let the customer pick their own streaming software. Maybe they can work with something open source and have something pre-bundled or just work with Roon or Plex.

Regarding open headphones, I have an old pair of Sennheiser 600s that I modified with 50% felt backing, I played around with all sorts of thicknesses and area from 10% to 100%. I come from a speaker building background so playing around was natural for me. I know these are not the best sounding headphones, but I don’t think they make any major mistakes.

What I loved about the Omega headphone segment was Doug’s comment that they could be made equivalent to high end audio i!n a tuned room. On certain audiophile sites, the ones with lifted pinky and ever so educated non-accents, I have been roasted for saying this is the next audio frontier. HA! You hide bound non-believers. Then there’s the giant vat of powder. Ya gotta love that.

Dude, is that a turbo S? Audio upgrades? I have an 08 Crarea S with a kenwood HU, 60x2 JBL amp with a 6.5 rockford component set in the front doors with a kicker 10" hideaway on the back shelf. Not great but happy with the price/performance ratio.

Coincidentally, I ran into Golden Sound straight away at SoCal CanJam. He’s a crack shot btw 🎯 So glad you gave a goodly amount of time to DougMS! I was anxious to hear his very cool creation! Though I tried them, the room was so loud and these are sooo open I was not able to hear much except a hint of some good resolution. I’m more concerned with the fact that they seem to be unable to control the heat in the Wotan amplifier they’ve just introduced. I’ve seen class A amplifiers that do not need fans. I’d be very concerned about the two fans, no matter what bells and whistles they’ve introduced. When’s the last time you’ve seen a manufacturer stick two “what appears to be” four inch fans in the back of a 200 watt amp. The literature on the website goes to great lengths to state how “quiet” the fans are. If they’re so quiet why mention it. I’m thinking they’re going to have a hard time selling that amp, especially at the cost bracket it’s in. At that price point I can think of many other manufacturers that have similar specifications with NO fans. Just my thoughts and I could be completely wrong. Time will tell.
