It makes NO SENSE that anyone would buy out Ricky. Why the hell would they do DD a favor and save them money? Option A DD just pays Ricky Option B DD cuts Ricky and still owes how much money? Option C DD lets Ricky shop himself around knowing he'll get less money but being willing to maybe pay him a chunk to leave or something? I can't image anyone paying DD to get Ricky and then also paying Ricky a salary. It doesn't make business sense. Especially if Ricky isn't selling discs for DD why would he for them? Also if they signed a contract how can DD get out of the contract without some kind of deal that allows Ricky to leave willingly without a buyout to them in some fashion?

That's weird cause Discraft just announced their 2025 lineup and Rick isn't on there. Seems odd to re-announce the team a week later. I don't understand Discraft's grab everyone they can strategy. It's not going to convince me or anyone else who doesn't throw Discraft to switch over.

What benefit is Ricky to a brand? Especially for the money he demands? Simon and Paul push plastic, have their own brand and have personalities. What does Ricky bring? Opting out of his contract for the now 4th time in a row? MVP would be making a mistake to sign him. They have a great MPO trifecta and Sarah Hokum. They don’t need Ricky. He can go back to Prodigy.
