You're including authentic parts of 2 different hadiths. One says something about an army with black flags coming with the Mahdi, while another says that an army from Khorasan with black flags would conquer Jerusalem (the capital of the future caliphate of the Mahdi).

I dont beleive Imran Hossein on most things, but you should know the the successor of Roman Empire is claimed by Russia too. At the time of the Prophet (as) the roman empire was constantinople, who followed the Eastern Orthodoc religion. The capital of Eastern orthodox religion is Moscow. It makes more snese to me if Muslims with have a peace treaty with Russians than have apeace treaty with NATO. If Muslim world and NATO are allies then I dont see who the enemy would be. The prophecy doesn't tell us who it is, both mentioned by you make sense. I am more inclined to it being NATO as it is said that dozens of different flags will come to fight the Muslim army. But both can still be correct, or none of them can be correct and it is talking about another which is quite unlikely. Anyone claiming they will come before and are amongst us people in the surface world are weird. The prophecy of Yajuj wa Majuj coming is clearly stated as one of the ten major signs. Which are the major signs? The first of which is the appearance of al-Masih ad-Dajjal. The second is the descent of Isa Ibn Maryam alaihi salam. After that they are not ordered any particular way from what I remember. But I am inclined to believe it will be the prophesised ten or forty year period of prosperity before the Yajuj wa Majuj are released into the world. Again, Allah knows best.

“His name is similar to my name” does not mean his name is Muhammed. If this was the case the prophet pbuh would have explicitly said that his name will be Muhammad ibn Abdullah. Which he did not. Therefore it cannot be confirmed that the mahdis name is Muhammad ibn Abdullah. So,) they change the Words (of Allah’s Book) from their (right) places, and have forgotten a (major) portion of that (guidance) which they were urged upon. And you will continue being informed about one or the other of their treachery, except a few of them (who have embraced faith). So pardon them and forbear. Indeed, Allah loves the benefactors.‏ (الْمَآئِدَة‏ - Al-Māidah [5 : 13]) And We (also) took a (similar) promise from those who say: ‘We are Christians.’ Then they (too) forgot a (major) portion of that (guidance) which they were urged upon. So, (owing to this breach of promise,) We infected them with mutual hostility and spite till the Day of Resurrection.
