Because in nascar the cars aren't aa fragile.. The drivers in nascar don't usually see/sustain a lot of injuries so they like to focus more on the sport.

Years late but better late then never. NASCAR drivers do help each other out after wrecks, only time they fight is if both are fine, and if it was a two car crash. All of you are ignorant.
@DDS029
@DDS029 7 жыл бұрын
In stock car racing (NASCAR isn't ALL of the stock car racing in N. America) they are told to stay in their cars, until a safety crew person comes up and checks on them. That's the drivers signal that the rest of the cars have slowed down. Now the jerks that don't follow that simple rule, are the ones likely to cause trouble. The are less wrecks on starts and restarts, because they aren't allowed to pass or change lanes until they cross the start/finish line. The only times there usually are wrecks then, are because they didn't scrub the debris off their tires, spun the tires, or missed a shift. It amazes me how many people outside N. America think they know what goes on over here. There is more professional and amateur road racing here on any given weekend than oval track racing. Amateur road racing generates no income. Therefore no money for publicity. Most N. American are conditioned, and expect to see the whole race track from one spot. That's the way it has been since cars started racing on horse tracks, since the 1900's. That's why we are conditioned to that. There were oval tracks for horse racing all over. Cars could run there without closing public roads.You could see the whole race from one seated, covered, place.

Because most series I know tell you to stay in your car, with the belts still buckled, and the steering wheel on in case some halfwit isn't paying attention to the flags and go flying in to the accident, full speed. Stay in the car, unless it's on fire. Let the trained people do their job.

If it was in Usa there was the space for all the cars. People still think they're the only ones on the track. If the track had been a bit wider and people hadn't thought that races are won in the first 500 mts of the race, this crash wouldn't have happened.
@d7me
@d7me 10 жыл бұрын
oh , you mean no crash like NASCAR Race ?
@AndrewLewer90
@AndrewLewer90 10 жыл бұрын
d7me Yes and no since all of the crashes happen in the last 3 laps or even at the last turn. I dont follow nascar, i am european, but for what i saw, crashes at the start of the race are very uncommon. Nascar is a bit different, massive crashes are usually caused by one person's spin in the more forward positions of the group and other pilots crashing into him.

2:42 Für mich sieht das so aus, alsob der Porsche wegen der Corvette nach rechts zieht (oder die Corvette berührt den Porsche), dadurch trifft der Porsche das Heck des Audis. 2:42 For me it looks like the Porsche steers to the Right because of the Corvette (or the Corvette touches the Porsche), beacuse of that the Porsche hits the Rear of the Audi.

Like F1 drivers who don't even bother to see if their car can continue after the inevitable turn 1 wreck. Who won't stay on the track for longer than 2 hours. A race you can tell practicality the complete finishing order by looking at the qualifying results. Drivers rare ly check on each other, because they will be riding to the infield hospital together, And they are told to get in the ambulance right away so they can get checked out as quickly as possible That's why you only see the arguments. Video replays. And it's usually the same few guys that want to settle things "by hand". In all the years I raced I NEVER approached another driver after a wreck. We always talked about it later. My opinion always was, if he could catch me to Hit my car, then I needed to find a way to go faster. So he couldn't catch me to ever do it again.

the problem was that the 2 r8 in the front are not so good in accaleration than the sls/corvette/porsche. so the sls had to break and the porsche tried to overtake but had to brake too. but then the corvette didn´t break and get onto the grass, rammed porsche & audi. please excuse my english, i am austrian.

Charles Walter yep, at the first shots of the pack going by, you can clearly see the porsche behind the R8 digging into it's rearbumper... with it's right front "pod".. then noticing the corvette next to him and backing off, but unsettling the R8 as the Porsche steers clear to the right.

Look at the still at 0:14 The yellow Porsche tried to overtake and didn"t notice the Vette to the left of him. Result: Porsche hit Vette and bounces off into the R8. The R8 then hits the Vette and bounces off to the right towards the wall.
