Flying like this must have exact coordination between mind and limbs with the feedback for the ears and eyes. While I can appreciate that the human mind can reach such reflexes and exactness, what is interesting is HOW DOES ONE LEARN TO BE SUCH A CAPABLE PILOT. In my days 75 years ago we had to fly on the field to learn at the expense of losing a plane if one makes mistakes. That I feel was the reason why we did not fly like this as it was so expensive to learn and get the mind coordinated with the limbs as it was rather heavy on effort and expenses. With the introduction of flight simulators for models where the action is so accurate and so fast, one can afford to make mistakes as all it needs to do it to press the reset button and one gets his plane back irrespective of the mistakes conducted. I have one of these model flight simulators and to make mistakes and get back to flying is very encouraging as I now can take risks and there is no big deal in the pains I feel. When about 75 years ago I made my first inverted loop with a real model, my heart sunk and when we flew control line where the model is so close to the ground, well one could not afford to lose the nice model to risk looping and manoevering so close yet we did it all with beating hearts and courage that one does not need in front of the monitor of a model flight simulators. I admire these young people getting their reflexes tuned up on a flight simulator and even my grandson who is five ears old can already handle manoevres which I cannot mentally keep up with and he recovers every time showing that he is in full control while my mind lost it. Well such standards of flying means that the human mind can reach a higher percentage of its potential and it is good that these young people have all these modern facilities where they can tap the human mind to a higher level. Congratulations to all those who make good use of modern facilities to extract more potential out of their human mind and not only to rely on instincts as many people who do not handle tools and technology in its depth often do. It is a nice world we live in and so as long as young people see the potential in the modern devices to improve on us well , I suppose one may look upon the young people as standing on our old shoulders to reach greater heights on what we built for them as engineers. Keep it up young people, there is so much potential still untapped in the human brains, and now that you have such training facilities without having the heartaches we had.. well use them well and enjoy every minute of it.

You can tell a 3D outdoor pilot from an indoor pilot (No offense meant at all whatsoever period-bar none) due to the 330 obviously able to hover and roll, but beautiful maneuvers like rolling harriers etc are missing. I would love to see an acrobatic skilled pilot fly this gorgeous plane threw it's paces. Such a wonderful model and yes, great indoor skills were shown and I am impressed and jealous !!!!!

The maneuver at 1:55 of this video is interesting. Did the pilot reverse the thrust after the loop? The plane basically levitated.
@sblack486 жыл бұрын
player101snoop i think he had a variable pitch prop.
@l.uis1626 жыл бұрын
@@sblack48 I am pretty sure the plane touched a part of the ceiling, which resulted in this maneuver. It has no var. pitch prop.

pappy1432. It is a model, and models do fly like that. In fact if you care to check on modern aerobatic full size aircraft that some are able to fly very similarly. Check out Mark Jeffries Aerobatic Pilot, Global Stars Aerobatic Team and many more.
@yachtcaptain73206 жыл бұрын
I agree. Although the pilot has a lot of talent, I have to say this plane doesn't fly by aerodynamic effects, instead it flies by vectorial thrust.
