I'm visiting this video again Father's Day '23. With every viewing, regardless of the number of repeats I learn something new: a plant name, method of handling, philosophy, design, renewal and letting go. Thank you Laura and team for so generously sharing your knowledge.

Stunning results in a rather complex yard with the steep slopes, paths, and needing to keep it dog friendly.

Overwhelming! - in all ways ... takes a team to control this one!

Those row of aeoniums in the front are stunning. I wish I could grow that too!

Please zoom in on the plants more, especially when one is being pointed out & talked about. It’s partly because I mainly watch your videos on a large iPhone rather than a laptop. Even then it’s not enough though. I love watching every video you post & often go back to watch certain ones again. I’m a big fan from South U.K. 😀 🌱💚

The gabian wall could be masked by interrupting the straight lines of wire with large rubble, here and there along the top and at the base.

You have brought out the beauty and the serenity of this landscape. Like a good book you just want the tour to go on and on. Well done.

The tillandsia are HUGE 😱 I didn’t realize they could get so big. Got me looking at my little baby ones now like “grow baby grow!” 🤣 air plant goals.

You can really see the plant texture now. Love her balls throughout the garden. I couldn’t agree more with the comments about the Steghorn fern (goals).

Way better than the before overgrown look. Very cool of the owners to share all those extra plants.

Dreamy beautiful. Don't you think though that those golden barrels (called Grandmother's chair in Namibia) are hidden at the bottom of the slope behind the wooden fence, not visible from the road. Maybe put them higher up where they are seen? And maybe behind that splash pool put something higher like Aloe Bainsii.

Wonderful job done! I could never have that many plants. I like more rocks and ground rock cover and less plants. My anxiety would be so high with that many plants.... You did great job cleaning it up...

I personally love that black top rock, it goes well with the green of the plants .Fits the aesthetic of the modern home pretty well.Is the bush like wall along the the property hers or neighbors? You probably told us but I don’t remember.

The basalt rock looks too big for this garden. I think it needs a smaller size. The deconstructed rock is a better size.

Ugh!. Not my cup of tea. Too much work and sloping. What a mess of hillside and planting one has to keep up with.
@markw14132 жыл бұрын
Wow! The most amateur job yet ! Even left weeds everywhere and when noticed this basic error... pulled them out leaving roots and seeds to spread. All on camera. Totally unaware. Looks like someone botched tbe front area. It's just a rubble pile. Pure comedy must see.
