I recently completed two paintings that were double-sided glue. Didn't know it when I ordered them, but I had no problem completing them. I could even move drills around when I didn't place them right. If you love the picture, I say give it a go.

I have been Amazon’s best customer. Because, I have bought all of my diamond paintings there. They even sell squares. So, later on I can do those inexpensive ones until I learn. I should try TEMU. But, I don’t open my canvases right away.

I think I'm one of Amazon's best customers too. I order quite a bit from them and Temu as well as Diamond Art club and Dreamer Designs. I don't know if there is a "right" way to open a canvas. Love the canvases. I also received a painting with double sided glue. When I opened it up the glue was pulled away from the canvas a bit where it was folded. I literally pulled it off half-way on one side trying to straighten it out then again on the other half. I'm going to experiment with it and see what I decide to do with it. It's a beautiful painting but don't know how it will turn out when I attempt it.

What is the scrape-ey thing you use to flatten the paintings called?

I think it's actually called a scrapper that you would get at a hardware store. Here's a link where you can find it on Temu. How do you tell if it is poured glue or not? Did not really understand. 😊

That's a really good question, that may take longer than what the comments will allow. Poured glue is how most diamond paintings come. The factory literally pours glue onto the canvas. A double sided take is exactly like the name. It's kind of like the double sided sticky tape. It has lots of issues with not keeping the stick. It's a cheaper way and much less quality (in my opinion) than poured glue.
