I’m with Tim on Silent Night. When the Christ candle has been lit and we are holding candles that started with the flame of the Christ candle. They dim the lights and the whole congregation starts singing Silent Night, it chokes me up every year. My heart is so full ❤🎄

The old 1.we all get together for a Christmas dinner, but this year…I have always lived in a different town, about 45 miles, from my kids…this year I moved to the same town as them so I got to have them all over for dinner! O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas Song. I went to a For King & Country concert a couple years ago & they did Little Drummer Boy! Yes it's awesome!❤ I always love singing Silent Night at our candle light Christmas Eve Church service every year. Then we drive around town & look at lights & decorations. If you haven't watched & listened to Pentatonix singing Little Drummer Boy up on a hill it's fantastic!💜

My families tradition was always opening gifts on Christmas Eve, because we wouldn't be home on Christmas day. But after we (the kids) grew up, we still opened presents on Christmas Eve & had Christmas dinner on Christmas day. My Mom passed in 2021 & the last 4 Christmas Eve's have been at my nephew's house with dinner & presents. So Christmas day is just Dad & I doing whatever.

Emily here :o) Our favorite movies are It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle On 34th Street, Elf, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and of course A Charlie Brown Christmas. It is just something magical about them, it makes you feel like a kid with Miracle on 34th Street, and with It's a Wonderful Life, it makes you appreciate life, and everything you have in it. Aww Tim is in touch with his feminine side, yay for you Tim!! I looked for the link for King and Country but I didn't find it. But I will look it up, thanks for the suggestion.
