I wish Orji would just switch positions and become a tight end or linebacker. His build is perfect for those spots. He could honestly even become a full back if he stayed with Bredeson graduating. I know he’s probably moving on, but there’s a possibility he stays just as there is for any player entering the portal. They paid a fortune for Underwood. Davis will be a sophomore and was a blue chip recruit. They’re not going to shell out another 1-3 million for a huge transfer QB because it would fracture the room immediately. Instead you bring in a guy like this who pushes the room just enough to make a starter emerge. And, worst comes to worst, underwood isn’t ready and Davis just ends up being a bust, you have a serviceable QB to lean on. Makes total sense.

It's sad losing Alex Orji because he was the quarterback that bad decision making messed over, Jayden Denegal Could have left last season. It wouldn't matter because the bullpen is full of pocket passers where it should not have been. But this QB guy from Maryland, losing a bonafide dual threat for a pocket passers is not, quote.... is not the direction you wanna be going. Michigan, did Alex Orji ugly his last season.... See what you want about him. He was the reason why we won some of the games we did - Moore Had no business, promoting it completely unqualified position coach to that of a coordinator that's what wasted it. Hopefully Alex can turn something out of another program. But all of this was already predicted. Once I heard Bryce Underwood was even remotely interested in Michigan, already said if Michigan picked him up, almost everybody's gonna jump ship - and that's exactly what's going on. If it's not a pure dual threat QB, has no business being on michigan's roster.

I am utterly a gasp but thoroughly not surprised at some of the. Relatively unqualified comments about Alex Orji -- on this thread you guys should be ashamed to yourself, especially the ones that think you know something about football. You do not when you make unqualified comments. You show your ignorance in the most laughably glaring way. Alex Orji was the victim of bad coaching and the evidence of the bad coaching was how quick the head coach was responsible for the promotion that should never have happened the way it did because Sherrone Moore was more interested in maintaining " continuity" as he was on record for saying, he made decisions rather than have faith and the system that already won them a national championship. And that was the 2 RB, 2 TE system that Michigan was using and it worked wonderfully, Alex Orji had every common sense expectation, including Jayden Davis of assuming the mantle of this system. Until it got interdicted by bass accords. Head coach decision-making when that occurred. It's nothing but play ketchup from there. Because they had the default in backtrack to a style of QB, play, an offensive play that the team was not set up for that's why they look like keystone cops whenever they sent Davis, worn out there. And then when they did run, please for Alex Orji They were not plays for dual threat quarterback, which is why they always made them look bad and people know. This, it's just the people talking crap on this thread about him, don't know this. It's just an unfortunate thing. Is what it is. Hopefully he'll go somewhere where coaching decisions will not impact his future utilitynthe way it was abused at Michigan, which was ultimately sad.

I'm really thrown by this QB mess 😕 We're hemorrhaging qbs but looking for QBs. The problem, to me, isn't the QBs. It's the QB coachs ability to get them where they need to be. New ones mean nothing if the coach can't make them productive. I even heard that in order to get Bruca Young, they had to cut toes with Campbell. Anyone else hear that? Anyway, that's how I feel. Orji should have been developed more. Hell, all of em should have. And what's the story on The Don? What was his injury? Is he done done😕

The problem ISIS this guy's not a dual threat. Okay, so he might be mobile. But the tape that you chose to select the post on the thread here doesn't show him freshing, it shows him scrambling. And considering the stat you chose to share of eighteen sacks - um. that's not looking good. The good thing ISIS that he's at least appearing to be mobile. That is appearances, only that covers the J. J. McCarthy spread right there, so Michigan doesn't have to abandon the RPO, But what? You don't want in your bullpen. Are a bunch of different type quarterbacks? That's what happened last year. That's why the the offense looks stupid last year. It's because they won the national championship with the R. PO and at least a mobile quarterback. And had two dual threats - Not one pocket passer contributed rightly and of course, they weren't going to different system - they tried to cram systems this year and they got a cram result.

I could go on and on man but it becomes tiresome. Honest to God Jim harbaugh would have won at least 10 games and made the playoffs with this team. Tell me I'm wrong?!?!
