Studying about and collecting antique and ancient knives is like that too; it causes one to learn so much and go down all these crazy paths because knives, for most of history, were very important, unlike now. Books...most people dont know that very old books, like from 16th century even, are available on Ebay and not that expensive...except old witchcraft books; they are expensive. Very old books, even if unreadable, are amazing to hold and look at and imagine who printed it and held it thru the years. I have one from 1579, vellum covered, written in Latin, I cant read it but I love it! Cool vid, thanks.

How could You keep such an old book save that it is still readable? Latin is actually not so complicated try an italian dictionary many words are similar I do not know where You live but the college libraries have often books in latin and english Blessed be

Great book collection! I have many of these titles myself. Some books by Andrew Chumbley, and Daniel Schulke would look great in your collection, if you haven't checked those authors out yet. Also, another one which I am almost certain you would love, is Ancient Greek Divination by Sarah Iles johnston. Also, since you are more of a religious pagan, have you ever looked into the Neoplatonists? (hint: they weren't Greeks, even if Neoplatonism sounds Greek.

While I really enjoyed the book, the author emphasized that there was a direct link from Persian Mitra to Roman Mithras. This is still unproven & debatable among historians. Though overall I thought it was a great intro to this deity :)

Damn I took one on 'Witchcraft Shamanism and Magic', it was a multi displinary study of global history and beliefs, so Anthro, Relig, etc ...than I had to leave school, wish I still had the mountains of papers we were given.
