The magnetic cube might be a party game. Draw a card in turn and create the shape in the card within a minute or so. If successful, go to the next person and repeat. If fails, out of the game. The last person standing is the winner. That’s my guess.

The noise is caused by the self-alignment of moving magnets. If they were fixed, you couldn't attach the pieces as you like. It is clever solution. Noise is inevitable.

I've used the MGC v2 for quiete a while now, and my biggest problem is, after the stock lube wore of the cube got very scratchy and the turning was pretty unpleasent. I used traxxas 30k on it but it made the cube pretty slow, sometimes it would speed up and other times it got slow again. With Angstrom dignitas the cube has the same inconsistency problems but it is a bit faster. Adding DNM-37 too it would make it uncontrollably fast and the effect of it goes away after not so many solves. I just can't get it a point where it is fast enough and not unpleasently scratchy.

I don't know Chinese but I know some Korean - the Chinese words mean America - in Korean they say 미국 (mi-gug), which means beautiful country, but I've heard that for a joke, a different chinese character has been used which is pronounced the same but means rice country.
