My adopted son needs help right now, but his adoptive dad (ex who is financially able to help) says, "No room in the Inn". This situation puts a burden on me. I feel sad and disheartened. But we will find a way to cope without his help.

Love the idea of adopting but it DOES matter who you are sexually attracted to...acting on any attractions of sexual perversion can bring dire physical, lawful and spiritual ramifications. You are not "born this way" the Australian study proved that (ask Dr. Collins it's author)...and the danger to children (pederasty, pedophilia) along with a myriad of diseases, psych disorders, domestic violence, etc establishes the harmful realities when engaged in perverted sexual activities. Love protects, it is ordered, is it based on truth and is other centered and sacrificial. Focus on THAT. God bless~

@@akat3628 We make judgements all the time, it's imperative that we do b/c that is how we get to heaven and live a life that is truly free. I am judging people who act on sexually perverted attractions not b/c I want to damn them to hell but b/c I love them, want to warn them of the dangers of acting in this way in this life and in the life to come and want to protect those they will harm due to their actions. Am I being judgemental for judging any destructive behavior just that? We can take Scripture out of context. If you read 1 Cor 5 and the beginning of the 6th chapter, St. Paul tells the Church in Corinth that we not only judge the people from within the Church but also the world. Don't we have an entire profession called "judges"? Don't we judge certain acts as criminal? Isn't that a good thing? Our ancestors judged sexually perverted acts as criminal and they were wise to do so. The destruction wrought due to the behavior (the list I noted above along with the feature of pederasty and pedophilia) warrants it. It is not kind or loving to lie to people and say is is harmless...tell that to the millions dead of AIDS. I want all people to live the life Christ died to give them and that does not include destructive sexual behavior. I judge their behavior (not their hearts, only God can judge that) in order to warn, to protect and to help them avoid the horrible consequences. God bless~

Many people have difficulties in their lives in which they have free will to accept these difficulties, and learn to live with it in His Mercy, or go against these difficulties, because they choose not to accept them.
