in 2009 when i moved from my rural town of Enkandla to go and study Medicine in New York, my father bought me the "Live at the Market Theatre CD" nd he made me listen to Thuma mina several times at the end he said the only advice he had for me was to be humbled by the opportunity nd realise that the whole of Africa is sending me to go nd get wisdom to uplift our people. fast foward to 2019 nd im still searching for ways to hear when im being sent nd deliver on time. i work with the U.N all over Africa nd its amazing how i feel at the end of each 36 hour straight shift, moving from village to village delivering free medical services. Im in Zimbabwe now nd will not even be home for christmas but im at peace because i am a child of Africa nd im sent by Africa. i can only push my own kids to not only hear the call but to go with pride nd one love for Africa.......... 2019 November
