I am so glad to have found these videos. I have almost all of his books and have admired this man for years as a great and learned man his loss was a great one for the church. His mind was so amazing and contained so much knowledge.

What was common knowledge for professor Nibley was way over his students' heads, and likely over the heads of most other faculty.

Professor Nibley knows whereof he speaks! I'm so glad these videos of Hugh Nibley are available! They should be featured and shown in all colleges and universities! So much like Dr. Walter Russell and his wife, Lao! The University of Science and Philosophy teaches what Jesus said his disciples were not ready for in that period. The science of the Creator and the Celestial Law are fully explained by the Russells. "Faith and Belief are but the shield of ignorance." (Walter Russell) Hugh W. Nibley teaches scripture-based knowledge, not necessarily included in the "King James Bible," but is to be found in other ancient writings, such as those included in "The Pearl of Great Price." The Walter and Lao Russell taught the same message of Universal Love and Balance, but with added scientific knowledge of "God's ways and processes." These teachings are NOT found in any college I know of, except for The University of Science and Philosophy. www.philosophy.org

Does the LDS church have any modern-day intellectuals that compare to Nibley? Fascinating lecturer.

I would suggest prof. Hyrum L. Andrus.
