“Lads, over ‘ere” - when Charlie says that at HT you know he doesn’t want to talk about the weather 😂 Really tough first half into a biting strong wind against very good opposition. Boys stuck to their task even with the gobby shenanigans and did well to keep it to 4. But what a second half that was. Massive credit to them all for believing and never giving up - that was pretty special to claw that back. I haven’t been that nervous watching a penalty for ages!! I was at the Nissi Reserves game last year and that was similarly nasty. Very unpleasant scenes at the end and the ref did well to get the game finished with everything that was happening. Some of it was self inflicted - definitely a bit too much overt gloating that the boys didn’t really need to do as they had already shown their mettle with the quality of the comeback. I thought he sent their GK off but it was tough to keep track! All in all though, a fantastic comeback and hope the red cards don’t damage new year availability too much 🤞🏻

'Never celebrate too early' and 'Being most vulnerable when you think you're on the verge of victory' have never been truer. Well done Edmonton, even when you're missing a few key players too. Nissi should have put it to bed in that first half but brilliant game to watch.

Tale of 2 halves eh! Thought the first half was probably one of the worst 45 mins of football Rovers have played this season. Whatever Charlie said at HT clearly worked because what a brilliant comeback in the 2nd half from 4 goals down great mentality to have. Thought it got spicy there at the end too

Good to comeback from 4 nil down. But every time I watch Rovers vs Nissi they always stir up nonsense. Especially their captain Theo Shoukri, giving talk all game. This guy looks about 30 years old. Beefing 19-20yr olds 🤣 Shows what a character he is. Good luck to all rover players, have a good mentality to games like this especially when it’s 30+ year old men thinking they can act like that. I mean that’s the only time they can anyways when they’re not being bent over by their boss at work. 😂😂
