Hayyy I'm a teen girl too! And same, I usually just take notes, and i highlight. But soooo many of the videos take notes _in_ the bible, or put sticky notes in their Bible's and write stuff on them. Like, whyyy would you do that??? You cover up part of the verses with ur notes like that! And then they try to sell you _cute bible suff_ 🙄

I agree. I think keeping it restricted to something easily manageable will help keep up the studying and keep it from becoming something painful. It should be manageable, fit into your lifestyle and time limits, and make you happy, not add stress.

If simplicity is better for you then absolutely do what works and will keep you consistent. Hugo has good points. The bottom line is to get closer to the Lord by reading and understanding His word. I ❤️ to highlight, annotate, write in my Bible....all the things you see from many of the ladies with channels out there. I am extra.....BUT----if all that is too much THAT IS OK. Do what helps you and what blesses you as a Christian young lady. Just stay close to the Lord!!! Stay sweet.🎉🎉

I have had trouble with journaling, but I greatly enjoy taking notes during the sermon on Sunday mornings, and looking back on ones from years past. Writing down the Scriptures and thoughts is VERY helpful whether during quiet time or during a sermon is wonderful. THANK YOU for sharing this!!

I find it so fascinating how God works. Just this week, I prayed and asked Him (on my mind only) if it would be a good idea to start keeping physical journals filled with my thoughts on the historical and cultural terminology of the original scripture. I imagined that one day, my husband and I could share these journals with our future children, passing on a deeper understanding of God’s word. And now, your video is suggested to me-right when I needed that confirmation! When you showed all five journals, it was kinda exactly what I had envisioned sitting on our own shelf. It was like God was showing me a glimpse of our future, and it brought so much excitement and clarity. I truly feel this is His way of giving me a big, encouraging 'yes.' So, thank you for being part of that answer. I'm so inspired to begin this journey, knowing it has His blessing. 🐑

Hugo, Before knowing you were Christian, I just "stepped " on the review for your Martin because I was kinda interested in this guitar. After that I just checked your channel and it was a bless. It's hard to find good content about how keep going when you're a Christ lover but Jesus caught my attention with your videos on how to organize your day etc. I don't know but Jesus loves you and I'm happy to know you by your channel. Good bless you my friend. I'm in France btw. 🤜

Thank you so much for this. I love the restriction/ limits concept because some nights I’ll read quite a bit and then other nights not so much and then I feel guilty like I’m cheating God or not giving him the correct measure of time reading his word. I already love to journal and I have been trying to find a way to incorporate that in my study time. I buy highlighters and pens of all different colors and I just try to make it as fun as I possibly can so I can stick to it. Training the flesh is a constant battle but if we persist the fleshly desires will fall away as we get closer to the Holy Spirit. So for anyone feeling guilty for not enjoying the Bible as much as you think you should, don’t worry it’s natural in the beginning, once it becomes your regular routine you look forward to spending time with God, we’re all in this together, God Bless.

I personally use notion to do SOAP Bible studies on various books of the Bible on my iPad, I go with some stream or rain or ocean background noises and use guided access to stay focused and I have it in side by side view, my Bible and notes on the other side, I like it like this since I can access my notes on my phone and reread them at school so what I’ve read stays fresh in my mind.

This is a very great idea. The only suggestion I would have is for folks just starting, never read less than a paragraph. So much can be taken out of context when only reading a verse of the day. I highly recommend Dr. Arnold Fruchtenbaum's bible studies as well. His footsteps of the Messiah and Yeshua life of the Messiah are so excellent for helping grasp the original Hebrew meaning and Jewish roots of the text. God bless.

Great Video! And Thank you. I wanted to start taking notes but I found other methods too involved and sometimes more complicated. I knew I wouldn't stick to that. Oftentimes, it was women who had these more involved methods (which I was drawn to since I'm a woman). I think that's just how us women can be sometimes. We get excited about the process and details like the paper, markers and pens, decorating or fancy lettering, etc. I love all those things too but, when it comes to Biblical Note taking, I wanted something very simple that I knew I would stick to and this sounds just perfect.

Can you help me to discern if this that I've received is really from the holy spirit? He woke me up this morning at 04:00. Here Is the text, translate In English from my language: Italian. Thank you and God bless you. Salvation is the fruit of a conversion occurred in the individual through the faith in the sacrifice of the Christ. There is no merit in salvation except the faith in Jesus Christ work on the cross. Embracing faith involves the salvation of the essence of the individual which is preserved intact at the judgment of God the Father at the end of time. Charged with love and venerable absolution of countless sins. Sanctity without merit in the execution and maintenance of the Mosaic law. Only the faithful will be preserved and protected from the final judgment. Walk according to your salvation, not caring about the imperfections of the flesh. Everything was reconciled to God the Father through the sacrifice of Christ. Walk according to my spiritual guidance. I am the spirit of the living God. I guide the elect into perfection through the fruit of the works dictated by the Father. I am the one who guides you, I am the one who justifies you, I am the one who gives you salvation with constant guidance in your daily actions. Safe and sound forever you will be. Don't worry about the imperfections of the flesh, all are covered by the blood of the lamb for eternity. Everything is reconciled to the father through the son. Safe for eternity are those who abandon themselves in faith to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Be comforted by hearing guidance in all the works you are called to do by the will of the father. Walk in the spirit of adoption granted to you through your faith in Christ. Hosanna in the highest Er every convert in glory of the Lord Jesus. You will ascend to the Most High without blemish since you have been bought with payment of royal blood and saints to the eternal Father as of the sacrificial lamb offered for the removal of earthly sins the redeemed by the blood of the lamb. Continue to sanctify yourself through my guidance and do not fear. You are free from judgment through faith in Christ He has saved you from the chains of manifest sin in the Mosaic law. Look before you with hope and serenity, the end is near.
