Today I read one memory about this song. When Rafi completed recording of this song, he asked the music director, who is going to sing this song on screen. When the music director said that Dharmendra is going to sing it. Rafi said that he will like to re do the recording in a style which will suit Dharmendra. It was done. Rafi was a perfect singer. I like to see the videos of Rafi singing, because of the emotions on his face. Even most of the the heroes on the screen could not show the expressions. But sadly such recordings are very rare.
