I am a bit confused here. Why does my new 1554 have a 7.4v battery when yours has only 3.7v? Also, what is the actual difference between the 1554 and the 1569? Other than the controls like dropping the blade like you said, they look and seem to perform identically so Im not sure which one came first and which one is the actual upgraded/later version lol.

I got two of those I had a 7.4volt battery from another excavator so I decided to wire it into the bulldozer and man oh man. So much more power. Dirt kept getting in the tracks and stopping it. Now only time will tell if this will hurt it but for now it will plow good. I also did the track upgrade with windshield wipers blades and added some weight inside the body, it’s a beast now. I see huina has an upgraded model twice the price and it comes with a 7.4v so maybe the motors can handle it seems like it. I have a video if you wanna see it. I’m gonna do some more videos soon where I installed it with the charger wire out the top of the cab and added weights and some before and after but it’s a HUGE difference

@ryanford7836 Yeah, they have a 7.4 and 3.7 I have done those upgrades the wipers do work but can also put stress on the motors as I had one went bad, but you all grade motors

@@RC84Films hey do you know a website where I could get replacement motors for it? I’ve actually looked a good bit and can’t seem to find any. Huina doesn’t sell them on there site. Just curious

The motors are not voltage sensitive (to a point) as long as they aren't overheating. Sounds like that's probably what happened to you RC84Films. The ESC however is sensitive to the voltage, and more specifically the amount of power (watts) you run through it. The fact that you were able to run the larger 7.4 battery and didn't fry the control unit right away means it can take the additional voltage OK. The question then becomes whether or not it can take additional power. The next step would be to swap the LiION battery for a LiPo... The volts would remain the same, but the LiPo can offer more current (Amps) due to a higher discharge rate. The motors in these models come in standard sizes, manufactured by outside vendors. Also the motors these things use are going to be cheap. In other words, it's worth experimenting with, since you can get motors that are tuned for higher torque (What you want) or higher top speed. You would need to find out what size motors (You have at least two) you have in your 'dozer, and go from there. They probably use a size similar to an R/C tank, in which case an upgrade should be easy.

Hi, what's the difference in power output between the new dozer and the origional? The new one only has a 1 s lipo compared to the 2 s lipo, so does it only have half the pushing power? Thanks.

@alandavies7400 old one was 7.4 new one is 3.7v they switched to the 3.7 for longer run time. I will do a video on it

Hi, will this model accept a 7.4v lipo battery without modifications or will it just burn out the electrics? Cheers.
