Thank you, Scott. As a graphic artist, I've only previously used graphics tablets as drawing devices. So, I wasn't actually sure what a photographer would get out of using a graphics tablet for in the Capture One image post processing process. Having watched your very clear explanation, I'm now clear you're simply using the graphics tablet as a pointing device; an alternative to a mouse or a trackball or touchscreen, but slightly more intuitive. It's been most helpful. Rick

It got my attention because of the touchring & its very similar to the wacom intuos pro. This price difference between the 2 makes this tablet a easy buy. Thanks for covering the touchring in detail.

Hi Dan. I have no problems at all with the tablet having no taper. I've never tried pens from other tablets.

This is absolutely the most thorough tutorial for the use of this tablet with Capture One, and , as you say, it does take a bit of getting used to. I got it yesterday, it is my first drawing tablet and I was surprised at how big its workable area actually is. I set my work area to a small region in the center of the tablet so I don't need wide arm and wrist movements, and have been changing it over and over again ever since I got it, I just have to get used to it but otherwise it's all good

You are welcome Mann. I am in the process of setting it up with Resolve. I will probably have the touch ring zoom in and out of the timeline. Key 1 will show the whole timeline. It would also be nice to be able to use the pen to pan the timeline. I will work out the rest of the keys etc over the next few days as I play around with it. I'm also looking at how I will set it up with Blender. I hope you enjoy your tablet. Just try to give yourself a few days to get used to it 😃

You are very welcome Kevin. I use resolve to edit all of my videos.The Huion works very well with resolve. I use it when I'm adding voice to my videos. It allows me to select the record and stop buttons without mouse click sounds being picked up my my microphone.

Very nice video. I just got the HS610, and using it with a WIndows 10 laptop and Capture One. Something weird is that when I press the gear button, the option to add applications is not there. It only shows the autostart option, and that is it. On the left I have the three same tabs, General Settings, Hotkeys and Updates. I downloaded the latest version of the Driver yesterday when the tablet arrived. So weird thing. But too sad that it seems I won't be able to customize the tablet according to the application.

I just figure out what the issue was. You need to install the Beta version of the driver to be able to select the application. Great that you showing the version at the beginning of the video. I uninstall the version I had and install the beta, and now it is working. Thank you!

Thanks for the excellent tutorial. I just received mine yesterday :-) I do have one difference of behaviour though, when hovering ove a slider and using the wheel, the tool window scrolls up and down instead of the slider moving. Did I miss something?

Hi Scott, I was testing on the new Beta 6. But I think I found the problem. I misunderstood when you said "hover over" the field, which I took as just put the cursor over it. I see now that you have to put the pen on the pad in the field and then dial. All good now. Keep up the excellent work

I just had a quick play with the tablet on a board at awwapp.com/ it seemed to work fine through the chrome browser. Though I did not test all of the features. Hope that helps.

Purchased Huion610. Absolutely no tilt function using macOS Catalina. The firmware update is only Windows download. The macOS beta driver needs improvement. Online support is a nightmare. I really wanted this tablet to work.

I've been eye balling this tablet as I use capture one and affinity photo but I'm on a Mac and I've heard nothing but horror stories from Mac users and this tablet. Such a shame.
