Okay sO I'm a beginner with art and after making it a habit for some time I realized how much I love it and I've been looking to buy my first drawing tablet for a few days now. The first video of yours that I watched was that beginner's guide you mentioned and you had a HUGE impact on me. I realized that finding artists who review stuff truthfully is hard and I started actually paying more attention to the reviews of the products on amazon etc, since that's where real opinions are posted most often. After siding with wacom's "reliability" for a while I started noticing that huion is mentioned a lot among artists and especially in the lower price range models. After a little research, I came across this model and was trying to find some honest reviewing videos but most weren't too helpful since they're using it with android phones and I have an ios phone and a windows laptop. I can't describe the joy I felt when I saw that YOU posted a review of this AND while using it with a laptop! Ugh, you just made my day:,(.. and I'm thinking of actually getting this one since it's affordable and I'm just trying to improve (and maybe I'll be switching to a nicer one in a few years). Thank you so much for taking the time to review this and being completely transparent about everything! I checked the affiliate link but it sadly doesn't ship to my country:( However!- I was really touched by the mention you did on your comic and the type of story that it deals with and I'll try to support you from there (since I'm i n l o v e with your personality and artwork so far and I think you truly deserve all the love and support to keep going!

About the eraser thing. I don't mind it because, flipping the stylus around back and forth actually takes more time than having a hot key. In Clip Studio Paint there's a Quick Menu you can configure to use any command too.

Yeah once I got used to it, it really wan't bad at all, and you're right that it was probably a little faster. It's just head to fight years of muscle memory! lol

Thanks for the review! I was having trouble finding a tablet that would suit someone who's left handed. I found this tablet and watched your review, and it was quite the relief to see that you're left handed too. If you were able to create that amazing piece of art with this tablet, then I'm confident it should work just fine for me.

A lot of the Huion tablets can flip so left handed people can use them too! You should check it out! :)

Yee, I realized that, but on some of the others I looked at, there were buttons on the side and on the top that would get in the way if you flipped it, which is where my problem was.

there's a hidden setting that allows you to setup different profiles for huion. it's not on the main huion driver but can be accessed by right clicking it's icon in the taskbar and choosing "settings". i use different short cut keys and disable enable for select 3d and 2d programs, and huion can detect those changes depending on which app is open.

This H320m tablet is causing me problems :(( I bought it a year ago and now the LCD side is barely erasing. I don't use my tablet often and I am very careful. I really don't know why this is happening. :/

Really love these drawing tablet reviews. I'd say XP-Pen is the better bet because that brand is designed specifically for digital art and I've had a great experience altogether with my XP-Pen Deco Fun and its pen.

Hey, just watching the review as I'm hunting for a new tablet, but just letting you know, in case no one did, the HUION settings usually do offer the way to create different software profiles, but you have to import/export the settings as a txt file via the HUION configuration menu whenever you switch. I have like 5 different setting files for my huion, it's a bit less intuitive than wacom, but still exists :)

Also I have seen that a few people keep mentioning that huion's tablets and pens feel kinda cheap and wonky? Like the pen nib is not very sturdy or the tablet is unstable.. does that apply to this model as well? and to what extent?

Yes, so this pen is much more lightweight than my Wacom pens. But I think that's because I've used Wacom Intuos Pro which is $300+. I think it's hard to compare an $80 table to a $300+ tablet. I'm not sure, but my guess would be that the styluses for cheaper Wacom models would also be a lower quality. That said, one thing I LOVE about Wacom is that their pens have an eraser built into them, but most artists I talk to say that feature is not worth the extra money to them. Hope that's helpful!

Say if you are doing like a math propblem o the board on the computer, you can see the work on the computer right, but you don't know where you are drawing on the board right??? because it doesn't show up on the board, a little confused by that

Correct, you can't see what you're writing on the tablet, but you do get used to it! Huion also makes a pen/stylus combo called the Huion Scribo that works on paper and the tablet at the same time. So you put the paper on top of the tablet and draw like you normally would and it shows up on screen as well. I have a video review of that coming out soon.

But even if they weren't, I'm curious what makes you think that I want this character to fit your specific standard of beauty or fall within socially acceptable averages for gendered archetypes?
