Hulhumale not smaller then malé. If you walk around the whole island, and cross the bridge to malé with your two feets you will realize that u need a vehicle (car/motorcycle)

I left Maldives when this island was just beginning to emerge from water through reclamation! It's a miracle indeed. Long live Maldives with special credit to His Excellency the ex-president Maumoon Abdul-Gayoom who initiated that mega project from the beginning.
