Mania IX is one of my favorite Manias of all time. It took a YEAR and 4 order attempts before I finally got this from Amazon. I didn't even believe I'd get it until I took it out of the box and held it in my hands. Now he's displayed in my New Gen ring black eye and all. I'd love to get an Ultimate based on the Yoko "match" as well with the long red tights and red shirt.

I'm probably gonna get scalped on this one. Rather pay that $60ish range just to get it, rather than wait and watch the price go up.. I think it looks better than coke eyes hogan.. I haven't found that one yet, but I think that's more wm1 ish hogan, and this hogan can easily fit in on that new Gen ring we're getting next summer!.. 👍

The problem with both hogan's in the UE line is the butterfly joints are pegged too deep in the cavity of the chest. Which also hinders the ROM.

This is an awesome figure, I am a hulkamaniac and will be needing 4 lol. I’m interested in seeing if the shirt from the survivor series elite and the bandanna from the defining moments will make him look more early 80’s. Did you happen to try it?

The only issue I see with making him an 80’s Hogan would be the wristbands. They’re inaccurate to that era and Mattel didn’t paint the white wrist tape underneath.

I’m not really motivated to go after this, having an elite with this color scheme and then an ultimate that’s basically exactly the same but with the nwo theme. I could see a huge hogan fan going after it. At least with the rock they were totally different figures.
