I watched every MDA telethon for 25 years. That night and Christmas were the 2 nights I was allowed to stay up all night. I remember so many times on the floor with a blanket mom and dad asleep on the couch and chair behind me.

Think what you will about Hulk Hogan. But he really did capture every kid’s imagination. He was a super hero brought to life. We will never see such a joyous decade like the 1980s ever again in our lifetimes.

Wow Hogan was tall back in the day when he was in his prime before all height loss due to age, hip replacement, multiple knee and back surgeries. Lewis was a 6 foot (183 cm) tall man.

This was back in 1987 when Hulk Hogan was still 6' 7" tall and was over 300 pounds. It was after this when Hogan ended up having two back surgeries that removed two discs and a knee surgery. Each of those surgeries cost him about 1" of height. That is why Hogan later stood only about 6' 4" tall.

Jerry Lewis is about 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inches tall here, and Hulk Hogan is 6 feet 8 inches tall. Not that much difference in height. When Dean and Jerry were still together I always thought that Jerry was slightly taller than Dean. There are members of my family that are tall, as well. My Mother was 6 feet tall. My Dad was 6 feet 4 inches. My brother is 6 feet 4 inches and my sister is 5 feet 10 inches tall. I had an Uncle years ago that was 6 feet 7 inches tall. And.....then there's me. I'm only 5 feet 9 inches tall and members of my family call me "shorty." I wish I was as tall as my mother was. I have a daughter who is 11 years old and she is nearly as tall as me. Who knows? Maybe she will be as tall as my Mom was.......6 feet! Good seeing Jerry. He was (to me) always the more handsome one than Dean.

OhioGirl1973 Yes, in my opinion as well Jerry was more handsome than Dean! Jerry was gorgeous. He had a beautiful face! I mean, don't give me wrong, Dean was a beautiful man as well! I guess Jerry is my type! I adored both men! Dean is my favorite singer. His voice is divine! He was also a VERY funny man and a great actor! ! However, Jerry was just one of a kind. He is one of my favorite people in the world. Nobody like him and, in my opinion, we will never see another one like him :( Jerry was gorgeous, sexy, very bright, witty, very funny, an innovator, man ahead of his time, intuitive, and immensely kind! I love him dearly!
