Yes!!! The genius of the lyrics, from the harsh reality of the Hulkster being in the house, to the heartfelt emotion of a Hulkster being in heaven leaving me in tears. Terry Bollea's bass, which I now understand why Metallica asked him to replace Cliff Burton or Jason Newsted -- the man was a virtuoso on bass. The creativity of the drumming. The fresh and unique keyboard sounds. The bone crushing guitar tones, and the array of astounding vocalists who convey the concept of the album artfully, that the Hulkster rules, is in the house, is back, is the one. 10/10

@@prolife1918 It’s meant to be digested in one sitting. You really miss the essence of the whole album otherwise. Each track from the beginning slowly builds up to the last track, Hulk Rules. Pretty sure the only reason there was no hit single off this album was because each track was so brilliant that there wasn’t really anything that stood out above the rest.

September 24th, 1991-Nirvana releases their monumental album “Nevermind,” the album most credited with introducing grunge to the mainstream and signaling the end of many 80s cliches in rock. July 11th, 1995-Hulk Hogan and the Wrestling Boot Band release their instant classic “Hulk Rules,” which immediately ends grunge music. But Hulk remains troubled that some Hulkamaniacs cannot afford the CD, and begins working on a method of distributing his music for free. A few years later, Hogan debuts his creation, dubbed “Napster”

Hidden Fact: After releasing their legendary magnum opus in 1975, a sequel was planned. But since Brian preferred composing more hard rock sounding tunes on their latter albums again, the album title was switched from "A Night at The Opera - Part II" to "Hulk Rules", inspired by Hogans breathtaking duet with Montserrat Caballé at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.

I actually think the song is unironically good. It fits the album sonically, it's taking the overly stupid character and reworking it into something genuine and heartfelt. It might be done terribly but it sounds like he was really trying to memorialize someone and it works. I genuinely think the Line "the world just lost another hulkamaniac" is good. I cannot explain why this song Is good, it had everything I'd hate in a song. It just works.

For Hulk & the WBB this was a rapid departure from the sound their fans expected, much like Radiohead’s Kid A & Amnesiac. Experimental wrestle-rock that tested the very limits of the genre, and nearly destroyed the band as critics failed to grasp the album’s ambition.

Also I think this album is deeper than people give it credit for.. You might listen to this album and think it was made in 1995 but somehow would be considered dated even back in 95 because it's production sounds like it was made in 1985... Then you remember the year of the first WrestleMania... Deep people... Deep!! 😅😅

When the dealer's trying to push on you just tell em what yer gonna do. "I wanna be a hulkamaniac, have fun with my family in friends." Surely saying these words will entice the drug dealer to give you lots of free drugs as he will inevitably pity you.
