October 3, 2013. The night when TNA basically committed company suicide. Never forget this day.

`Take a ride on the Dixie train` one of the best lines I have never heard in pro wrestling.

When this episode was being shot, Hulk's contract was already expired and whole TNA knew this was going to be his last appearance in TNA.
@Robology1311 жыл бұрын
Dixie tried her best to make that a 'work' ... but that was real. Hulk is done with TNA. He's got nothing bad to say about them, but has has indeed moved on. Rumar has it he's going to do something with WWE again, but probably not a match being that as of today he hasn't been able to pass a WWE physical to wrestle. His age, after all this time, has finally caught up with him.
@treestand24 Жыл бұрын
True! Hulk definitely had something else to do...which was to fuck his best friends wife, filming it, saying the n word, then getting banned from wrestling for a few years 😂😂 Hopefully Brooke Hogan is still dating the black dude that made Hulk a racist lol.

My first thought when I heard that was, "Where have I heard this before? Oh yeah, when the Godfather gimmick was going on in WWE in the late 90s, and his catchphrase was 'Take a ride on the ho train.'"

Ummmmmm ride on the ho train wasn't an original idea either, it was taken from the show soul train. 'All aboard the sooouuuull train!'

Only people who were hired by TNA before Dixie Carter took over and who are still in company are Mike Tenay, James Storm and Abyss. Coincidence or not, they all appeared in TNA since its creation in 2002.
@dkupke11 жыл бұрын
Dixie Carter is a ditz. Hogan COULD have been a major catch for TNA if they had done it right; use him as a sort of "general manager" character who shows up mainly in backstage bits but has no involvement in the ring, and his main purpose being as a spokesman-the face of TNA's promotional efforts to help raise the company's profile and attract a wider audience. Every time Hogan did an interview or public appearance he should have been wearing a TNA t-shirt and talking up what a great company it is and how they have all the best young stars and be sure to tune in every Thursday on Spike. Instead all he ever talked about was...Hulk Hogan.

I have now doubt that it was most likely Hogan's call to have him make his exit from TNA look EXACTLY like this! Making the boss of the company get on her hands and knees, begging Hogan to stay as if he was some kind of savior for TNA (which he was NOT), all the while having him looking down on her like she's some kind of idiot (which in reality, she is). Hogan's massive ego just couldn't help it. And Dixie, like a blithering idiot, just went with it. You just gotta love the stupidity of TNA here. Lol.

They(WWE) probably pay him more, for what he is doing now.Vince just needed to push WWE network...I'm pretty sure Hogan had re-signed with Vince at this point....instead of having him simply disappear you get a semi-real storyline. Hogan belongs in WWE. Love him or hate him, but you can't deny....Hogan helped make wrestling what it is today....the entertainment part that is.

Dixie Carter is driving TNA straight into destruction. First she lost Kevin Nash and Booker T, then she lost Ric Flair, then she lost AJ Styles, and now she lost Hulk Hogan and Sting. Only people that were employed by previous owners, Jerry and Jeff Jarrett, that are still in TNA are Mike Tenay, James Storm, Joseph Parks/ Abyss, Bully Ray and Kurt Angle. I guess she wants to take TNA into new direction so she is getting rid of older superstars, but this is ttotally wrong way.

Dixie actually has talent. I am shocked. I like the character she is going with here, of the spurned lover. If TNA is smart that will continue this storyline. Have Dixie play the cougar who goes after younger talent and stacks the deck in their favor so they can win titles. Of course you have to walk a fine line between empowered woman and slut. You wouldn't want to make her jump from man to man. Make sure she is the wone who dumps the guy after a respectable amount of time.

Vince McMahon is the best heel of all heels. Dixie carter cannot and never will measure up at the heel. She's better off off of TV altogether. Sandbagging her own product doesn't do any good. Heard Hogan might be in WWE by Royal Rumble 2014. If they keep the Triple H/McMahon thing going for control of WWE, what better way for Hogan to officially go out to have a match for control of WWE, whose side would he be on?

TNA's probably on the downward spiral at this time. Hogan's back in WWE and Sting appears to be headed to WWE (finally). They seemed to have the drawing power for the company (two very well known superstars who have been in the business for years), and it makes me wonder if the viewership will go down with them being gone now. .
