Hulk Just Proved He Knows Exactly How to Kill Wolverine

Wolverine's ligaments can't be made of adamantium because then he wouldn't be able to bend or move. Therefore Hulk can literally just rip him completely apart, tearing off his head, his arms, his legs, ripping his lower legs and forearms off at the knees and elbows, and his hands and feet off at the wrist and ankles, and tearing his spine/thorax/abdomen/pelvis apart into 27+ different pieces. Indeed he could do it easily. He could also rip the jaw off the skull. Wolverine may have a great healing factor but one would imagine it would take a while to regenerate after being torn into more than 50 separate pieces. Which piece would regenerate back anyway? The skull? Why? Hulk could just stick one of Wolverine's own claws into the foramen magnum and scoop out all his brains. He could scoop it out faster than it could regenerate. Then what? Or maybe the T5 or T6 segment of the chest would regenerate due to its proximity to the heart? What heart? Hulk could chew it up and spit it out in a vat of acid (if not just swallow it) ... at what point does it stop regenerating? And if it doesn't then will Hulk have to deal with 50 new Wolverines? Duplication is not born out in stories about him. The people who write these things flunk basic critical thinking.

Actually there are stories that shows that wolverine technically would not stay dead,in old man Logan storyline hulk ate wolverine and wolverine regenerated inside the hulk,wolverine has also been cut up into pieces by nick fury where we learned that even with his head cut off it doesn’t kill him but simply incapacitated him,the phoenix has burnt him down to his adamantium skeleton and he regenerates from that,as long as there is a single cell or part of him available he will regenerate in time,what the writers has done over the yrs is weaken his regeneration by making the adamantium inside him toxic so that his healing factor is overclocked to keep him alive,b4 they stated that only a special sword that has a piece of his soul could kill him,so hulk punching him so hard that he dies makes no sense since technically wolverine has died from nukes,drowning,encased in adamantium,getting eaten etc he just won’t stay dead

@@fitzroy6970 I'm aware of all that but it doesn't answer any of the questions I posed. Try again. 1) How many Wolverines come back from physically separating him into 50+ parts? If only one, why? From which part? Why? If he can come back from multiple parts then why not regenerate from all of them at once? If he can regenerate from any of them, but only from one at a time, then how do physically separated parts communicate and know whose turn it is to become "the" Wolverine? Why isn't he instead like a sponge which can be ripped apart and turn into multiple sponges? If he can do thar then why hasn't he already multiple times? 2) What happens if you just destroy all the cells, of either that one part or of the whole body, which should certainly be easy enough to do? Certainly Hulk could do that, and Phoenix could do it far more easily, being able to rip him apart at not just a cellular, and not just molecular, but at a subatomic level, reducing him to pure energy and sending it to the four corners of the universe? 3) How did the Hulk ever eat adamantium? (The indigestion thing is why I said "Chew up hus heart and spit it out into acid.") But, ignoring that, why isn't the Hulk's stomach acid and digestive system powerful enough to destroy Wolverine's cells? It can break all kinds of other things into individual molecules, so why not Wolverine's cells? But let's just say for the sake of argument that he can't digest him, then just go back to 1 & 2. You don't really need to try to answer these questions, and you should save yourself the trouble because, in case you don't know, there are no good answers. That's the whole point. You perfectly illustrate my point that the writers (or in this case the readers) of these stories suffer from a lack of critical thinking skills. Here's the truth: a hero or villain is exactly as powerful as they need to be to accomplish the writer's goals at the moment, and if that requires a suspension of the laws of physics, or even a contradiction of previously established limits of the character's powers, that's A.O.K., consistency be danged.

The writers always take huge liberties with wolverines healing factor, they never explain how his healing factor heals the adamantium skeleton. Many cases it has been bent, broken and separated but somehow his healing factor fixes it along with his flesh.
