Because he was deaf, Lou couldn't hear the director yell "CUT!" so they had to throw ping pong balls at him to get him to stop "smashing."

They probably tried various things after the first episode. The DVD set has a special feature. In it they said that they thought Lou was going to kill himself. There was a scene in the lab with fires and explosions. He was about to jump into a lot of it and they were yelling at him not to do it. He couldn't hear them and jumped anyways. It turned out okay, but they were freaked out that they couldn't stop him.

7:42 Li Sung's tears speak great volumes over the guilt he feels over what Steve did in his absence. His ambition to enlighten the west resulted in his obviously corrupt student to abuse his teachings and privilege in his absence to gain power. His friends and community suffered while he was gone rediscovering America. Further he was welcomed back with fear and hatred by those that now forgive him in light of the surfaced truth. Although the crimes Steve had committed are his to be punished for, Li Sung still bears responsibility as his teacher for opening the doors to skills he wasn't worthy of in the end. perhaps he believes now that he may be blind in other ways beyond the physical. He simply made a bad choice in choosing a disciple. In the end he's only human.

i swear this particular HULK TV show was a lot like the many VIDEO GAMES i played through the years, where i had to fight my way through the early boards, and defeat the early Villains, to eventually get to the MAIN BOSS that i had to beat to finally DEFEAT and END THE GAME, LOL.. Great stuff indeed, and a lot of FUN .

Lou never beat Arnold in bodybuilding. Lou was never really conditioned until later in his career
@BJETNT3 жыл бұрын
He never beat Arnold brother!! And it still bothers Lou ferregno. They literally rig shows to wear Schwarzenegger would win especially in 1980. I can understand to a certain extent cuz Schwarzenegger was a much better frontman for bodybuilding and love the stage was much better at getting attention. Lou ferrigno actually has a pretty bad complex about the whole thing. Lou ferrigno at his best when he came out of retirement I think at 43 years old and got up to 320 to compete would have actually beat Schwarzenegger I'm pretty sure. But like I said they rigged the shows to where Arnold would win. Well at least the 1980 one was. Arnold Schwarzenegger cast a pretty big shadow and it would have been hard to bypass him being anyone. But when I saw the interview you can tell it really bothers her for ignore that he never beat him.

@@BJETNT those shows weren’t rigged (completely) 9 times outta ten, it comes down to conditioning and Lou’s conditioning wasn’t there.
