What are Hull City doing? They should never have sacked Rosenior in the first place Now Walter has gone it's utterly shambolic
@tyler-jbrown3 сағат бұрын
Hull City fan here, sacking Liam Rosenior in my opinion (said this the day it happened) is the single biggest mistake this club has made since the whole Allam "Hull Tigers" name change fiasco. The man was loved here, had a distinct very effective albeit cautious style of play which agonisingly brought us just short of a play off spot. The only way was up. Absolutely appalling decision, now we're back at square one, all progress made in them 18 months decimated. Walters style was never going to work, and if it were it would've required heavy backing and a top quality striker which we were promised, all were left too late... hoping for a Mark Robins or Steve Cooper-esque style appointment and January backing, but it's an optimistic prayer more than a liklihood. Need to go back to basics and learn how to score.. rant over.

@@Geoff_1975 Same. Summed it up. Walter was a fraud, owner only sacked him cos the fans had started to shout for him to sell up. The bloke's all ego hated that Liam was more popular than him.

This Rosenior obsession has to stop he had a top 3 team and won 3 games in 2024 deserved to be sacked
@tyler-jbrown2 сағат бұрын
@Kris_1708 I'm not sure where you've got your facts from Liam Rosenior certainly won more than 3 matches in 2024
@mrdeafa25Сағат бұрын
@@Kris_1708 He was at the end of Year 2 in a 3 year plan and finished just one win short of the playoffs, hardly a disaster! Thanks to the ego of the chairman we are deep in the shit.

Hull fan here. I can't lie, I'm absolutely delighted he's been sacked - he just isn't cut out for managing in this country, nor has he meshed well with the Club or the supporters. Of course there are plenty of mitigating factors as you mentioned in the video. But I think if you look at Walter's career as a whole, he is just a below-average manager who relies on good players to get wins. Agree with what you say about us behind the scenes. Sacking Rosenior was absolutely the wrong decision. But all we can do now is look forward and getting the next managerial appointment right is an absolute must.

Said it was the most ridiculous decision the owner could ever make. We'd got our club back and were all in it together, building something but no Mr Ego blew it. He actually blew it in January, buying a load of players that we didn't need instead of the one player we did, a striker fot the injured Delap. All on him & he goes & puts this clown in charge.

Wednesday fan here. Only seen this in my feed because I watched the highlights last game. Genuinely shocked how bad hull have become. The defending for that 2nd goal. Just wow.Wednesdays strikers are terrible yet they could've had about 5 first half. That manager had to go it can only surely get better from here for you boys all the best! 👍

Agreed with all you’ve said Ben. As a long standing City fan it was his arrogance which turned the fans against him. He didn’t understand the championship and was adamant about his way of playing and did not have a plan B. We shall see what happens in our next chapter. We need someone to settle the ship and consolidate our place in the division. Good luck to the new manager.

The problem with saying injuries is that he wasn't playing any different or better with the players that are now out. His football doesn't work, he couldn't get HSV promoted with the biggest budget in the division. No owner should be sacking a manger because he's ""Bored", All the talking heads said league two was the only thing thats going to come out of this owner is being proven to be 100% correct.

Tim should have listened to the old Bill Shankly statement. "Football isn't a life or death situation. It's much more important than that." I think the Owls have won more matches at MKM stadium than Hull this season.

Walter had no Bob Hope with the squad at Hull, but good luck to both parties for the future.

This happens with many clubs !!! From top to bottom the whole administration needs to be pulling in the same direction or it's the highway to oblivion !!!! You cannot run a football club like a normal business You have to be football orientated & most of these administrations are not!!! It seems to be I have money & an ego and I'll do what I want then it goes pear shaped and fans suffer !!!!!!

He had to go. Sheffield Wednesday have won more games at the MKM than City. That is untenable for a manager

He deserves to get sacked as Hull somehow lost to a West Brom team that drew 8 out of 9 games with the only game that they didn't draw was Hull.
