I might sound super overdramatic but this update made me tear up a little bit tbh 😭 the hullabaloo lore has been my favorite since I started playing almost 4 years ago and Violetta is my favorite character and just seeing so much content for her but also especially so much love and appreciation from the community just makes me so happy! :)

I've been wanting some new chase music and it's really nice that they added two new ones for both the survivors and hunters. The map is also probably my new favourite. (I haven't done my pulls yet. Going to grab all the essences from the shop first.)

I may have discovered that Hullabaloo and Professor counter each other. Since Hullabaloo doesn’t get affected by the shield whenever hitting it, it just tanks a hit and you don’t get presence for it. But you’d have to time it right to make it work. Also, you have to make sure you’re not in the fire zone or the fire ball effect be the last ball to hit you to take damage. So… professor now is meta?

Don't mind me, Margie main doing an A-tier Margie skin analysis: You're completely right about the half-n-half theme, Zeez. But just when you called Weepy's motif stronger than Margie's, on that note, I'd made some connections in her (showstopping, gorgeous) costume to her lore. You'll get it especially if you've played the story. - the diamond-legged design on her right leg is very circus-oriented. it lines up with her black eye, associating the domestic violence she underwent from Sergei with the circus altogether. - her other leg is more blank, than anything... _clean._ it aligns with her unharmed, fresh eye. Remember Margie's birthname, Nathalie? Alongside her plan to do the show at the manor, get paid, and pursue a new life as Margaretha? Nathalie was the Female Dancer tied, trapped in the circus (the right half of her costume). Margaretha is the Female Dancer who broke away, and is paving a new and better path for herself. One might say, taking a _step_ in the right direction. I mention that, because of the design components on her legs! To me, both sides of her coexisting on one outfit speaks greatly about her role in the Hullabaloo story*, where at the manor, she is torn between these two sides of her: _One foot in the circus, one foot out,_ I'd describe it. Her comrades from the circus as well as her acceptance of the play/job at the manor hold her back from fully stepping out and embracing Margaretha, while everyone remembers her as Nathalie. Her costume is "Drifting Moonlight" because of her intent on drifting away from her previous limelight in the circus. This may be said about Weepy, too, though I know less of his story; definitely seeing it with the "one foot in, one foot out," thing: He's the face paint and leg amputation on his circus side** and a clean face and full leg on his new, clean, duller side. "Extinguished Sun" is the name, because maybe, his prime was when he was in the circus... or maybe because he resembles Sergei from their time in the circus. Not anymore, somewhat. (*& maybe even the context on the profile picture you can purchase on the event shop: overall, it mentions how Margie will be onstage playing a role that is practically herself, for the first time/just playing herself; this is important because we see her use aroma therapy to brace herself to keep her calm, collected facade up. From that, we know this act of hers will be going up in _flames_ later in the endgame.) (**Like their physical parallel as they face each other in their event shop icons, both Margie and Weepy share an injury associated with their circus identity (black eye, amputated leg) and a lack thereof in their newer identity, in their A costumes. I can't wait to read up on Weepy's lore.) Anywho, I really love these guys. I joined the IDV scene back when Kroto was featured, and did not understand a thing of the game but for the fact that I loved Female Dancer, my first bought character and first main. I've wanted to try out Mike for a long while, and Bryce Papenbrook brought him to life beautifully in the story, as everyone else became characters I sympathize with and care for deeply knowing what i've known about the lore. I know seeing the story in action is both the best and worst thing to me, as I love how we're finally getting the story in all its lovely craftsmanship and voice-acted and animated glory, but knowing a bit of how it all ends? I may shed a tear witnessing the full thing, really. I'm not ready. They're not dead... what do you mean?? Ugh. What a time to be alive.
