well it can work against something like ryze or zed just like in the midlane, but you will get run over by pretty much any bruiser if they run ghost flash, also for tanks like sion or ornn you will get completely murdered because they push insanely good and then they are so tanky you wont ever have enough mana to deal even half of their hp

I'm gonna drop this comment before watching the video to share my thoughts on malz top. I have actually been playing this for a while now around gold ish elo and it's been working great for me. Honestly better then mid but I'm more familiar with top so that probably plays a part. I haven't been doing hullbreaker tho I do know that's a thing on malz top but I haven't felt the need for it since I usually rotate to team with r.

@prophetmalzahar honestly I don't even think you need the demolish. I'd stick to mid with him. He can do it for sure but at the end of the day I just can't realistically see a scenario where malz is going to do yorick things top better then yorick would lol. It's sort of a why am I not just playing yorick kind of vibe. Especially since yorick can shove all three lanes at once if he wants and someone knows how to use him. I was doing malz to m7 him out and because I had an urge to play him.

I started to take demolish and overgrowth as secodary on malz some months ago, with ghost and flash in mid. And for me it works the best ...sometimes I switch them up with something else (depends on the matchup), but mostly I take these runes. Because if you see your team starts doing only bullshit, you can splitpush and play like a yorick 2.0. Or if the enemy midlaner roams often , you can punish it harder with some sweet demolish procs and towerplates. Hullbreaker is a thing I did not tested yet, but I think I will..atleast when I play him on top.

i mean... thinkin about it.. i think i could literally do the same tactic as hullbreaker witout hullbreaker... xD.... but demolish would def be better

i tried demolish and its sure is good against roaming champions, i would not pick overgrowth tho, conditioning or boneplating seems to do way better for me, with boneplating you will not get runned over by some insane early level champions like pantheon, and conditioning is best when you are unlikely to get killed many times in lane, good for matchups like lissandra or galio. Usually l prefer to take inspiration second because being able to use insane combo R+Flash and tp more often has a very good value, you can pick something like free boots too which is just free 300 gold

Hey bro I love malz hence why I love watching you but you do one thing that annoys me wait for the cannon minion to tank tower shots then summon voidlings, tower always targets voidlings after killing it's target you'll increase tower damage soo much, keep on rocking the malz 🤙

Try ryze with night harvester, relentless hunter, phase rush, waterwalking, celerity. Cosmic drive if you dont need anything else. Ive had a couple fun games moving around super fast.
